All working with 10.14.5, Clover 5.4.4.0, 19,1 iMac here!  Admittedly, a lot of teeth clenching and crossing fingers as it updated.

Definitely one of those moments when you dive in with a deep breath :)

Thanks for this brilliant guide!) Yesterday I finished installation macOS with UHD 630 via HDMI LG-4k TV. All works great. Yeah. :thumbsup_anim:

Thanks for taking time to share your success. Appreciated :thumbsup_anim:

thanks for this cool guide, hope to install mojave with it.

my config:

gigabyte aorus z390 pro

i7-9700K

nvidia gtx 1070 only for windows 10, with mojave i'll use UHD Graphics 630 of the cpu

4x8 gb  g-skill

ssd 2tb m2 970 samsung (for windows 10)

ssd 500 gb samsung 860 evo (for mojave)

Can i use both disk with win10 and Mojave?

maybe switching on bios on saved profile?

when i'll try to install mojave, the disk have to be on sata 0 or is ok any sata port?

i can leave the m2 disk inside?

i know is a lot of question, but i'll try to find a solution, if exist, to have both system on same machine

anyway thx for now for this nice and unique guide :)

I've had setup similar to yours before. You can save bios and changed profile every time you want to switch OS.

You don't need to change SATA port, but I'd prefer sata 0 for all OS, just my own preference so I know which port has which drive (I have all my SATA ports used up though)

Leave your M.2 inside, not a big deal.

You can use both disk with Mojave with additional software to read + write NTFS on Mac. On windows you will also need additional software to deal with apple file system.

@mfortuna

Try again, POST-INSTALL Aorus Pro Z390 EFI - RX580.zip  I tested this on two hacks and can confirm that sleep and audio on wake from sleep are both working. :) ( Press power button to wake from sleep )

hi,

USB wont boot!

I follow the guide preparing the usb installer and i use VMware with

Mojave installed to make it.

I download the Mojave and put it in application.

I notice that while i see the video, you have to mount the EFI partition of the usb installer everytime using esp mounter pro ,

if i click and open the "Install macOS Mojave" usb, i have all visible.... i mean i see and have all there whithout using esp mounter pro:

- Applications (folder)

- EFI (folder)

- EFI-Backups (folder)

- Install macOS Mojave

- nvram.plist

and i follow the guide!

Maybe the problem is related to this?

I mean, when i try to start from USB i see only "KingstonDataTraveler G3 PMAP" unit and not the Uefi one as i see on the pic

what i'm doing wrong? :(

ps:

- i'm using the usb 2.0 port

- when i create the usb installer i used the front usb 3.0 port

Hello @blackwalker

Here is what i have:

i dont have to mount efi and open it because i just have all there when open usb

Hello,

It seem's like you do not have an EFI partition on your USB installer.

  • Delete, EFI folder.

 834288619_Screenshot2019-05-15at10_19_53.png.f5e8fb33401c56df7cecdcf22b62e654.png

  • Then follow.

Then mount EFI partition from your USB installer then copy over EFI folder.

Then you will  have:

@blackwalker

Ok your EFI is Intel, good!

I'm assuming you have HDMI cable attached to Aorus Z390 Pro HDMI port and not the GTX1070.

From guide, ensure you have correct BIOS settings. Try going back to BIOS default settings and then change BIOS settings as shown in the guide SCREEN DUMP SPOILERS

Make sure to have the following BIOS settings:

Peripherals  Initial Display Output  IGFX

Chipset  Internal Graphics  Enabled

Chipset  DVMT Pre-Allocated  64M

Chipset  DVMT Total Gfx Mem  256M
