With the newest kernel version, when I push right mouse button 4 or 5 times, the Finder always be crashed and relaunch automatic! (any Finder are closed) Is it error? Anybody have this problem?

Could someone help me?

It sounds like you should go back to the last kernel you were using, or update your sig to say "Almost Perfectly" running ;)

:( I like to know extractly where is the error!

Because of new kernel or because of new NTFS patch (I've just applied yesterday)

It seems because of new kernel, but I should look around for any people have the same problem like me!

Hi, i had the same problem while ago. maybe u are using stuffit?? if yes ... check for an update..

bye

Joe,

Are you saying this one let your dual cores finally work?

Thanks!

NO, I was laughing at graphic Design updated sig :)

I was able to boot with both cores and deal with terminal and stay running, but not stable. It would stutter and my clock was skipping by 2 seconds sometimes 3 or 4. It ran but not good. I have no problem with one core on this new kernel.

I bet you have the stuffit plugin showing in finders right click menu? thats the problem, you need to delete it from library/contextual menu items/

Thanks for your Help, yeah, I'm using the stuffit 11 now, I will tried to follow your suggest as soon as possible!

EDIT: okie, I saw this one in the STUFFIT's website:

StuffIt Deluxe 11.0.2 - StuffItCM.Plugin Updater

The updated StuffItCM.plugin corrects an issue that would cause the Finder to intermittantly quit and relaunch when the Contextual Menu was accessed.

--Requirements--

This update is intended to be installed over an existing StuffIt Deluxe 11.0.2 installation. If you do not already have StuffIt Deluxe 11.0.2, you can get COMPLETE update below which includes this fix.

Only the StuffItCM.plugin component will be updated by this installer. All other components will remain unchanged. You will need to log out and log back in to complete the installation.

I bet that's the solution for my problem!

hello all!

( first srry for my eng. :P )

i've downloaded this "Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso" iso, burned, but when i trying to boot, i've got this error message:

"System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist not found"

My motherboard is Abit AB9 Pro [Intel® P965 / ICH8R Chipset], C2D E6400, 2GB DDRII 800Mhz, nv 7950GT, 1 DVD-ROM (PATA) prim. master, 1 DVD-RW (PATA) prim slave, 2 SAMSUNG SATA in RAID 0 (in Intel Matrix storage raid cont.).

My main question is: my motherboard is compatible with Mac OSX86?

2. SATA RAID0 is supported?

HI FRIENDS,

I have the same problem / question:

Is there anyone who could install ox86 10.4.8 on ABIT AB9PRO. If so, please let us know HOW?

I have an other sys (older: ASUS p5B /chipset 865) which goes without problem, but the new 965 ch.set or rather the new SATA DVD solution does not. Has anyone experience to boot from a USB HDD? Or is there any other trick(s)?

Fast repply highly appreciated !
