Back again with some news... SSD is definitely broken...

Tried to do a backup from my working Sierra build and the EFI Partition can also not be mounted.

Trying to get a new one had the broken one for a year and couple of months.

Does the disk utility see the disk?

i installed fresh HS beta3 today.

battery indication still have issue since dp1. i think ACPIBattery need to read check or uncheck of battery indication option.

kept always disabled battery indication in power saving setting. after install HS beta3, some boot(1st, 2nd) has battery indication.

but it's suddenly disappear. then i checked it, but still reset(unchecked) after reboot.

this problem is battery indication on menubar. not include basic battery features.

except battery indication, I have not found any special problems.

ps. Model name display is ugly. It is too messy.

I do have one problem which is the disks in the side bar under the devices. the simply don't show, not even when I try to add them by finder's preferences. I have to manually drag them from the desktop and add them one by one. Anyone noticed or have the same problem? I tried it on both my test rig and may MacBook Air and they are both the same.

Yup, that's what I said in my previous post ;) "not even when I try to add them by finder's preferences"

I even removed com.apple.finder.plist and that also didn't help. It's not a big deal I'm just curious why strange things happen to me :hysterical:

God damn you're fast. :D Sorry, I noticed you said that after posting. That's why I removed my previous post.

I'll try to confirm that on my side. Could be a bug.

My sidebar is fine. But yeah, upgrade, not clean install. So...could be a bug. :)

Yeah I suppose the upgrade will not produce the bugs as a clean install does. That's why I'm alway doing a clean install after each release, except when I use the final version of an OS. B)

Same here..

I've also tried public beta, sometimes I just only put discs in exfat or fat in siderbar...

I had a bug for copy file, progress bar was empty and present even when it was over ... This seems resolved in DP3

These folders are identical (except for the kext that you added), the config.plist are the same.

When you boot from USB you have WiFi and when you boot from hdd it doesn't work?

Yes, exactly. When I update Sierra: for example, 10.12.4 to 10.12.5, it's necessary to reinstall IO802... With Beta 3, I tried now to reinstall also IO...Familyv2. I tell you.

Sorry for my English.

Did you patch the kext file or you are using clover's kext patch option? I don't have the same wifi I'm just curious to know if there is a clover patch to avoid reinstalling the kext file after each update.

For those Nvidia cards which need either Nvidia Web Driver or inject Nvidia by Clover (or GE=Y by Enoch/Chameleon) only Intel HD or Nvidia alone was working.

To boot High Sierra either disabled Intel HD by BIOS or set nv_disable=1 was working at present.

Thank you for your reply.

Does it show that not only in my environment but also in other people now does not work in High Sierra now?

Strange indeed, there is nothing that I can do to solve his problem because I don't use that WiFi adapter and I don't know much about it but maybe you can take look at his settings please, if you don't mind.

So why Matgen84 can't get his to work?

The problem is

Native card injected on dsdt?

it makes no sense .. only it creates several problems..imho

I suggest you patch the clean dsdt again.
Do not inject anything about wifi.
Or delete the dsm method, rename the device with its original name

I just edited the macOS High Sierra IO80211... file. It seems to be "Sierra version" in Beta 3 like other Beta. Now, reinstall don't work and load kexts: with message PCIe configuration failed at start.

Edit: my wifi card is Asus PCE-68 ac with chipset Broadcom 4360 (OOB macOS).
