Hey man, I have a laptop (Acer Aspire V3-731-4634)

in which i have succesfully installed MacOs Sierra, the problem comes to the fact that the chipset is series 7 (Mobile Intel HM77 Express) and the processor is Sandy Bridge (Intel Pentium B960) with Intel Hd graphics Sandy Bridge that is recognized as Intel hd graphics 3000 with no QE/CI.

is it possible to get QE/CI or not? Thanks.

Question, If i have a 7 series chipset HM77, can I buy a sandy bridge core i3, or do i have to buy an ivy bridge core i3?

I have read that MacOs doesnt activate the graphics since normal Macs dont have hybrids ("OS X gets confused when you run a 2nd generation Core-i "Sandy Bridge" CPU on one of the newer 7-series motherboards instead of a 3rd generation Core-i "Ivy Bridge" CPU, and vice versa").

I just want to be sure what processor I need to buy, taking into account that sandy bridge i3 is cheaper than i3 ivy bridge.

Hello MaLd0n, gengik84

I have a GA-z97-hd3 v2.1 with an intel i5 4690-k and an Nvidia 1050 ti SSC with 16 gb RAM ddr3 1600. Attached you will find my ioregistry file and two different clover settings that I have tried. My concern is that the booting process is taking more time than in the past after I tried both clover configurations. The clover.zip folder is booting after a while, the other one named clover 8-9-17.zip Im not sure is booting. The osx installation is 10.12.6 and is installed in a SSD devoted solely to osx. Could you check and share with me the best configuration which speed up the booting time.

Here is the other clover folder configuration I was referring to.
