  6. Installing macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 on ASUS Vivobook S400C (also know as S400CA) Specifically in S400CA-CA178H model, most likely all other models are compatible Updates: 12/20/2017 04:41h GMT-0 - Added config.plist. - Added USBs.kext to replace FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext and USBInjectAll.kext. 12/11/2017 20:26h GMT-0 - Added update instructions. - I use SSD. I set the guide for HDD too. Small change. 11/29/2017 01:10h GMT-0 - Added USB 3.0 Kexts - Bonus: Touchscreen now works. 11/29/2017 00:18h GMT-0 - Added HDMI audio patch to Clover 11/24/2017 00:16h GMT-0 - Complete rewritten. What works and what does not work - Processor -> Work. All SpeedStep stages. - Video Card -> Work. HD4000. Full QE/CI. - Chipset -> Work. - HDMI -> Work. Audio too. - VGA -> Not work. - Audio -> Work. - WiFi -> Not work. Need to be replaced. - Ethernet-> Work. - Keyboard and touchpad -> Work. - FN keyboards keys -> Work. - Brightness control -> Work. - Touchscreen -> Work. - Sleep -> Work. - Battery -> Work. - Card Reader -> Not tested yet. (TODO) - Integrated Camera -> Work. - Bluetooth -> Not work. - 2nd stage boot logo -> Not work. What you need to install - Running install of macOS on VMware -> Downloaded version 10.13 via torrent (search by "10.13 vmware" torrent). You can use a real Mac of an friend. My method only tested on Mavericks (10.9) and above. - One USB flash drive of 8GB or bigger. - macOS High Sierra install app -> Downloaded via App Store inside the virtual machine. Downloaded version 10.13.2. - CloverEFI -> Also download inside the virtual machine. I used build 4334. - DSDT patch skills -> Needed to battery works. How to patch DSDT. Or you can download mine DSDT below, but would not recommend. How create the install disk Prepare flash drive: Format the disk with GUID partition mapping and name it "Install". - Open Disk Utility. - Click in View, then "Show All Devices". - Select the destination flash drive, then Erase. - Name: Install, Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and Scheme: GUID Partition Map If the Erase popup in Disk Utility don't work. Close it and run this in terminal: diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ Install /dev/diskX X is the number of the destination disk. Use "diskutil list" to discover. Create install files in flash drive: Open terminal and run this command: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Install --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app --nointeractionThis will take about 30 minutes. Install bootloader: You need to format the EFI partition of the install flash drive to FAT32: sudo newfs_msdos -v EFI /dev/diskXs1 X is the number of the disk. Use "diskutil list" to discover. Download the CloverEFI (used 4334) and install with this options on "Install macOS High Sierra": Options: - Install for UEFI booting only - Install Clover in the ESP - Drivers64UEFI - CsmVideoDxe-64 - Drivers64UEFI - OsxAptioFixDrv-64 Adjust the config.plist genereated: Will be created a partition named EFI. Edit the /EFI/CLOVER/config.plist inside this new partition and change those values: - Alter value: GUI - ScreenResolution to 1366x768 - Rename key: Graphics - #Inject -> Inject - Alter value: Graphics - Inject - ATI - FALSE - Alter value: Graphics - Inject - Intel - TRUE - Rename key: Graphics - #ig-platform-id -> ig-platform-id - Alter value: Graphics - ig-platform-id to 0x01660003 - Alter value: KernelAndKextPatches - AppleIntelCPUPM to TRUE - Rename key: #KextsToPatch -> KextsToPatch - Remove all <dict>...</dict> in <array> inside KextsToPatch - Add <dict/> bellow in <array> inside KextsToPatch: <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>HD 4000 brightness fix</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> EAcAABAHAAA= </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleIntelFramebufferCapri</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> EhMAABITAAA= </data> </dict> P.s.: I will provide below my config.plist as attachment. Add essentials Kexts: Download those Kexts and put in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.13/ - Download the Smart Touchpad kext from here. I used the version 4.7 beta 5. - Download the HWSensors dmg and use the FakeSMC.kext from inside. I used the version 6.26.1440. This is very important. Can't boot without it. Put the Clover installer on the flash drive too. Now you can start the instalation without problem (I guess). BIOS Setup Configuration and Installation Bios configuration: - Shutdown the ultrabook and insert the flash drive on the left side on upper port (on the side Keystone hole). - Power on with F2 pressed to enter BIOS setup. - Go to "Save & Exit" and press "Restore Defaults". - Go to "Advanced" tab and change VT-d to Disabled. - Go to "Save & Exit" again and select "Save Changes and Exit". - When ASUS logo appear, press and hold ESC to enter Boot Menu. - Select the flash drive named with UEFI prefix. In my case "UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler 2.0PMAP". - The clover menu will show. Use the arrow keys to mark the flash drive. The option name is "Boot OS X Install from Install macOS High Sierra", then press Enter. - If you did everything correctly, you will see the installation screen. BUG Note: I delete all entries from the list. With that, I could not add anything else. It just didn't work. I had to put some USB device so the list is not empty, so I can add a new entry. Strange thing... Format destination disk: Format the disk with GUID partition mapping and name it "HD". - Select Disk Utility in the list, then press Continue. - Click in View, then "Show All Devices". - Select the destination Disk, then Erase. - Name: HD, Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and Scheme: GUID Partition Map If the Erase popup in Disk Utility don't work. Close it and run this in terminal: diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ HD /dev/diskX X is the number of the destination disk. Use "diskutil list" to discover. Close Disk Utility. If the destination is SSD: Start installation without APFS conversion: Open Terminal and run: /Volumes/Image\ Volume/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall --volume /Volumes/HD --converttoapfs NO --agreetolicenseThis will take about 20 minutes. If the destination is HDD: Start installation normally: Select "Install macOS", then Continue. Follow instructions in screen. After install: After first part install the system will reboot. In Clover main menu, press enter in "Boot macOS Install from Install macOS High Sierra" once again The second part of the installation will begin. This will take 16 minutes. Post installation Install bootloader: When the second part of install finish, the system will reboot again. After performing the user initial setup and go to the desktop, you need to install Clover on internal disk. Open the Clover installer inside flash drive that you copied before. Use same options above but choose the system partition this time. Now you need to replace the EFI folder inside your internal disk EFI parittion with EFI folder inside flash card EFI partition. The flash drive EFI partition is unmounted. Mount with "diskutil mount /dev/rdiskXs1". To know what X is, use "diskutil list", most likely is 1. Add Clover entry to UEFI: Now remove flash drive and restart the system. With F2 pressed to enter UEFI BIOS. - Go to "Boot" and press "Add New Boot Option". - Select "Add boot option", write CLOVER and press Enter. - In "Select Filesystem", choose the option that contains "HD". Like "PCI(1F|2)\DevicePath(Type 3, SubType 12)HD(Part1,Sig2a0127c1-ea5d-44d3-8967-57e59c1f0e3b)". - Select "Path for boot option", write EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.efi and press Enter. - Select "Create" and press enter. - Go to "Save & Exit" and select "Save Changes and Exit". Others Kexts: I strongly recommend always use newest versions. If you are too lazy, I attach on end of the post. Ethernet: AtherosE2200Ethernet 2.2.2 Sound: VoodooHDA 2.9.0d10 (.kext only) You need to select the output there in System Preferences after reboot. Battery: ACPIBatteryManager by RehabMan (version 2017-1001). You need to path DSDT (below). Integrated Camera: AnyiSightCam USB 3.0 + Touchscreen: Attached USBs.kext below All kexts will placed inside /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.13/, mount again this partition (diskutil mount rdiskXs1) for it. Fine Adjustiment Enable FN keys Open "ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext/Contents/Plugins/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext/Contents/Info.plist": - Alter value: Fn keys Layout to ASUS - Alter value: Fn keys Mode to 3 - Alter value: Preferences - Swap alt and windows key to false Sleep work, but Hibernate not. These are the only two Asus models that I can afford, fit the form factor in my build, and already have had a BIOS upgrade by Asus to 9th-generation - if I want to replace the CPU with an i9 in the future (for now I'll be using i7-8700 or even i3-8350k but I want to future proof a bit) Thanks guys!
  8. Hi, After wakeup my system is slow, console input show some duplicate character when I type some commands. Intel Power Gadget is shows no more statistics. [HELP] Screen Flickering

My Laptop: ASUS ZenBook UX330UAR 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD Intel i5-8250U 1920 x 1080 (UHD 620) After using this guide to setup my laptop as a Hackintosh (macOS 10.14.6), every once in a while it'll result in the screen flickering, and usually the intervals between the flickering get smaller and smaller to the point where sometimes the screen just panics. I tried injecting my EDID and setting my SMBIOS to iMac18,1 but none of those defeated the dreaded flickering. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! 24838.zip EDIT: I'd also note that this does not happen with Linux nor Windows so it is a macOS issue not a hardware issue.
  10. Hello guys, how are you? I have been trying to make this work for the last 3 days but I really can't. I have a 2500K overclocked from 3.3ghz to 4.4ghz but my Hacki doesn't seem to care . I have used Piker Alpha script to make a new SSDT and move into EFI/Clover/ACPI/PATCHED but it seems its not being loaded in clover? I attached a print below. My mother is an Asus p8p67 deluxe. 11. I'm trying to install High Sierra 10.13.3 on an ASUS N552VW laptop, and I get stuck after this message: "could not recover SATA HDD after 5 attempts, terminating" And some other warnings afterwards. Specs: CPU: Intel Skylake 6700HQ 2.6GHz RAM: 16GB DDR4 2TB HDD + 128GB SSD GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530 + Nvidia GTX960m I'm installing using a 16GB USB3 flash drive on one of HDD volumes (UEFI Mode) I uploaded the verbose log and clover config.plist config-new.plist
  12. Hello everybody! I'm creating an asus bios repo, with MSR0xE2 unlocked and many updates/mods. You can ask me to upload your model without any problem. I'll not edit ANY bios that isn't from asus. (Ex: Already modified bios file / from other manufactor) Here are the modifications that are present: -MSR 0xE2 Unlocked (Apple PM Fix) -CPU MICROCODE UPDATED (Latest Version) -iGPU GOP UPDATED (Integrated GPU UEFI driver) -LAN PXE UPDATED (Intel/Realtek/BCM) -AHCI/RAID UPDATED (Intel/Marvel/JMicron) -ASUS ROG LOGO (From Rampage IV Black) Attention: Some mods aren't available in certain chipsets. Look in my github description. The updates were made with UBU (UEFI bios updater), and MSR unlock & ROG Logo with UEFITool. I only tested with P8Z77-V Deluxe, since I only have this board. But, all the files should be working. Would be great, if who test it post a feedback here. Current supported Asus Models (More coming): LGA1155: -P8Z68 Deluxe -P8Z68-V LX -P8Z77-I Deluxe -P8Z77-I Deluxe/WD -P8Z77-M -P8Z77-V -P8Z77-V Deluxe -P8Z77-V LK -P8Z77-V LX -P8Z77-V Premium -P8Z77-V Pro LGA1150: -ROG G20AJ -Z87 Sabertooth -B85-PRO GAMER -Z97-PRO GAMER -Z97 Gryphon LGA2011: -P9X79 -X99-A II ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always: I'm not going to take any responsability if you mess your MB up. If it fails, just download the bios file from asus website, rename it, and put into your pendrive. (Rename with the modded bios name) How to Update (ASUS USB Flashback): Download the bios file on my github. (below) Format a pendrive to fat32 Copy the bios file to your pendrive. Shutdown your computer Connect your pendrive into "Usb Flashback" port. (If you can't find, search in yours board manual) Now press the "Usb Flashback" button. Wait until the blue light stop (can take up to 5 minutes) Start your computer, and configure bios again ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Download Repository (Github)
  13. Hey guys, I hope you can help me solve a mystery. Even the amazing Mald0n has been working hard to help me find a solution, but now were are both stuck. Creative thinking or maybe just help to see the forest for the trees would be highly appreciated. PROBLEM: Mac will not sleep. Monitors sleep fine, and come back on with touch of keyboard. GPU and CPU coolers are constantly running on idle to low load and will not go on standby no matter what we have tried. Even when using full “Shut down” via apple menu the lights from the MoBo or GPU are pulsing slowly, which they normally dont as far as I recall. (This specific issue could possibly be solved by using ErP Ready in BIOS. Haven´t tested this since that´s a smaller issue ATM) Everything else seems to be working fine. This problem started appr a week ago, and I have no idea why. No major installs, updates or changes that I can think of. GOALS: • To be able to activate sleep via apple menu. • To have it sleep within 15-30 secs and wake up quickly (like it did before) via push on Power button TECH SPEC: • Running 10.13.6 • Asus Maximus X Hero Wifi • Gtx 1080 Ti • 32 GB Corsair RAM • Intel i7 8700K • 2 monitors via Displayport • 6 internal disks (2 HDD, 4 SSD) • 1 external backup • 1 internal USB hub/SD reader • 3rd party Bluetooth and Wifi (Asus MB not compatible) • No Blutooth mouse, KB etc WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR: • Used Mald0n’s custom DSDT with latest config • IUpdated to latest Security Update • Updated to latest BIOS • Updated NVIDIA webdriver and CUDA to latest • Disconnected LED monitors and tested with old Mac monitor via DVI to see if Displayports were the issue • Disabled Adobe CC Sync • Run CleanMyMac • No start-up apps or extensions in System Prefs • Disk Utility: checked all disks • Terminal: no info on wake reason at all. (Possibly because it doesn´t sleep, hence nothing is interrupting it). • Blutooth allowed to wake sleep: set to OFF • Power manager: only setting is “never switch off monitors”. The rest are off/unchecked • BIOS: Tested by setting "ErP ready" to S5 > no difference • DSDT and EFI folder screenshot attached. I think that’s it - otherwise just ask I have read a lot of articles on this type of issue, but none with a clear answer. So if anyone can solve this mystery, it would be amazing! Thank you in advance! Bauermac DSDT.aml.zip UPDATE: Of course it was something seemingly insignificant and stupid that prevented sleep: An unfinished PRINTER job.... After clearing the printer queue, it went to sleep but woke up immediately after due to a USB power issue. Possibly an internal USB/SD hub. Mald0n used his magic and made a new DSDT file to fix that, and now the machine is running almost perfectly apart from a fickle Bluetooth (fingers crossed). Hope this can help others out there with issues.
  14. ASUS N550JV I'd been working on this computer since of the beginning of 2014 and I can say that OS X is pretty stable on it with El Capitan 10.11.4 [EDIT] Some news about Sierra Well... In June 2017 I finally cross the line and I bought the MacBook Pro 14,3 dropping my N550JV, that's why I'm not gonna help you with Sierra. However, since Apple hardware seems to be buggy sometimes (or bad luck ?), my MacBook Pro motherboard died after only 3 months. Not so good for a 3000€ laptop... Student, but also freelance web developper, I need my (working) laptop everyday. But Apple seems to considerate that paying a product 3000€ is not enough to get a free replacement device ASAP when a failure happens. The warranty will take the motherboard replacement fees, but my MacBook won't be available during 6 or 7 days : what a loss of income ! That's why I told the vendor that I have no choice but returning to Hackintosh to be able to work. And I decided to try to boot my Time Machine backup on my N550JV. After some ajustements, it worked and I'm now running my MacBook image on the N550JV. I fixed QE/CI, touchpad and wireless, but I still miss the TouchBar... I have no time to explain the steps to make it work but you can find the clover folder I used to run 10.12.6 right here. You just have to install the updated versions of BrcmPatchRam and VoodooHDA in /S/L/E to have Bluetooth and Audio. This work is dirty but I hope it will help you to get Sierra running on the N550JV. 16. Hi guys, Though native graphics acceleration is supported on i3 from Mojave, I'm not able to manage to get it. This is my system configuration : Motherboard: Asus Prime H370-Plus CPU: i3-8100 (UHD 630) OS: Mojave 10.14.2 I'm trying every possible way to get full graphics acceleration. But whatever I try it shows only 4MB video memory or leads to Kernal Panic. Here are some ways I have tried so far: Prerequisites: Installed latest Lilu+WEG on L/E. set DMVT prealloc to 64MB on bios. Option 1: IntelGFX-> 0x3E928086, ig-platform-id-> 0x3E9B0007, Inject Intel = true. Output: Kernal Panic Option 2: Blank IntelGFX, blank ig-platform-id, Inject Intel = false Output: Kernal Panic Option 3: IntelGFX-> 0x3E928086, ig-platform-id-> 0x5912000, Inject Intel = true. Output: Booted Successfully but no graphics acceleration. I knew that ig-platform-id-> 0x5912000 doesn't work in mojave and its works only for high sierra but I set this because with this ig-platform-id I can boot. Another way I can boot it by setting invalid Fake IntelGFX value like 0x12345678. Option 4: Downloaded Intel FBPatcher & followed this guide. But as I opened the app, its shows like this: It clearly indicates it neither can detect Intel CPU generation nor GPU memory (currently shows 0 MB). I changed to different PlatformId from the drop down but no improvement. Anyway I applied a patch with SMBIOS ->Macmini8,1 by someione's recommendation . I attached a config file (config_fbpather.plist) for this. Output: Kernal Panic I have tried the upper mentioned methods with SMBIOS like iMac14,2 / iMac18[1,2,3] and Macmini8,1. I'm using HDMI port for display output. Now I don't know whats wrong with theses methods but maybe someone can help me to figure out this problem. I have also attached those config.plist files. Thanks in advance. config_fakeid_0x3E928086.plist config_fbpatcher.plist config_fbpatcher_with_device_id.plist config_platform-id_0x59120000.plist

I have tried to install clover via no UEFI legacy mode (and with UEFI method) using the method here (http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html) both times I can get to just past the clover boot screen and it freezes after that. I have verbose (-v) selected in boot options: On the non-UEFI install then it hangs on: "Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key>...." I have had a lot of issues with trying to get the installer working and many different things that had to be disabled but now it just gets to here and stops. Some times it will glitch out on this screen and give me a the circle with the line through it and text garbage around it where the text in the pictures are. Need help please. 23. Hello Everybody, First Hack here, and I have a fresh vanilla install with Mojave 10.14.2 closely following this vanilla installation: https://hackintosh.gitbook.io/-r-ha...p-guide/config.plist-per-hardware/coffee-lake I was surprised how well it worked initially with the above suggested settings. Only a few minor things (USB SSDT, signing the Bluetooth Kext, and switching from VritualSMC to FakeSMC) needed to be adjusted to get were I am currently. I built this machine to be a video editing/photography workstation. And so far pretty happy but would really appreciate if anyone has any knowledge or solutions with the few problems I'm still experiencing: 1) FIXED (SEE COMMENT BELOW) Sleep issues waking up from sleep (maybe due to the ASMEDIA USB controller) -FIX WAS UNRELATED TO ASMEDIA CONTROLLER BUT DUE TO PREFERENCE OF "ALLOW BLUETOOTH DEVICE TO WAKE THIS COMPUTER"/ AN EXTERNAL USB 3 to SATA Cable for Hot plugging SSD's/2.5" HDD's. With USB to SATA adapter unplugged/ Bluetooth preference changed, Mac now sleeps uninterrupted. 2) The ASMEDIA USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports ejecting after sleep 3) Am I currently using the correct setup for graphic acceleration with a connector-less ID for the UHD 630 and Radeon RX580? Specifically for optimized performance with FCPX. 4) Normal Power Consumption? I've attached my config.plist, ioreg.zip from RUNME app, SSDT-UIAC.aml (created using Rehabman Method), and my DSDT.aml (from this post for the Maximus x code courtesy of @MaLd0n ) If anyone has the time to take a look and maybe shed some light if I've done something wrong that be awesome. And for anyone looking to build a similar machine, I would highly recommend it, and feel free to use these settings. If these minor last things are addressed, this is a really solid hack. Cheers, Shark Detailed below is What is Not Working, The Build/BIOS Setup/Install Process, and What is Working. NOT WORKING: 1) Sleep: If I put the computer to sleep, or it falls asleep on it's own, it wakes up immediately after sleep. I’m getting these errors in terminal trying to figure this out using the following two commands: Command: pmset -g sleep 10 (sleep prevented by powerd, sharingd) Command: log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason" localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: XHC Here are my current settings: Clover: Boot -> Darkwake=0 (tried 1 and 2 as well) Energy Saver Settings: Nothing Checked EXCEPT Put Hard disk to sleep when possible Would like Power Nap Enabled for the purpose of Time Machine, but doesn’t seem to be an option with Hackintosh? Using Terminal I have disabled the following: sudo pmset -a ttyskeepawake 0 sudo pmset -a proximitywake 0 sudo pmset -a standby 0 sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0 2) USB 3.1 Gen 2 For the 2.0/3.0 Intel Chipset, I’ve tried both the @headkaze Intel FB-Patcher v 1.6.8 and @RehabMan instructions on creating a SSDT. The FB-Patcher did not work completely. So I continued with @RehabMan method, created a SSDT, and sacrificed 2 x usb 2.0 ports and 1 internal RGB LED header to reach my 15 port max with 3.0 speeds on all SS ports. The ASMEDIA Ports work OOB with full 3.1 speeds. However the Eject issue can only be resolved by using an App like Jettison. And using that app doesn’t solve the sleep issue, computer still wakes. I’d rather figure out why the disks keep ejecting on sleep and if fixing issue #1 would resolve issue #2 or vice versa? Do I possibly need a power management ssdt? And how would I create one for the ASMEDIA chip? I've now tried using the attached DSDT.aml in my Patched folder. I can now see it's working as my PCI devices in System Profiler are now populating (before it was stating no PCI devices). However still experiencing sleep and eject issues. Ioreg Reads for the ASMEDIA 3.1 controller as: The 3.1 controllers for the back USB gen 2 ports are controlled by: RP05@1C,4/IOPP/PXSX@0/PXSX@01000000 PRT1@01100000 (type C) (3.1 speeds) PRT2@01200000 (type A) (3.1 speeds) PRT3@01300000 (type C) (2.0 speeds) PRT4@01400000 (type A) (2.0 speeds) The 1 x 3.1 type C port on the front panel is controlled by: RP07@1C,6/IOPP/PXSX@0/PXSX@01000000 HS01@00300000 (2.0 speed) SS01@00100000 (3.1 Speed) There is also a SS02@0010000 under this controller, and as far as I can tell it does not have a function. Is there a way to disable, such as when creating an Intel Chipset SSDT? 3) FINAL CUT ISSUES/ GRAPHIC ACCELERATION: Currently it doesn’t appear that the IGPU UHD 630 is doing much in iStats. In Apple System Profile/ Activity Monitor GPU window I only see RX580, no UHD 630. Is this how it should be? Or is that what connector-less ID should look like? With FCPX there is no crashing, glitchy exports, or rendering issues, however not sure if Graphic acceleration is being used to its fullest potential. The IGPU uses 5-8% Memory/ Processor when playing/scrubbing in timeline. And only 5-10% of the IGPU Memory (no processor) is used during any render or export of footage. The RX580 is still doing most of the hard work. My Bruce X times are quick 14-18 seconds, but I’m curious as to why the IGPU isn’t doing any of the lifiting. Is this expected? I'm pretty happy with how Lightroom and Final Cut are performing, I just want to make sure I've set the hardware up correctly. 4) Power Consumption I have a general understanding of building computers, but not an expert especially with first time building a Hackintosh, overclocking, timings, voltages, etc… In HWMonitor the CPU Package Core reads blank, CPU Package Total is anywhere from 3.52w to 4.8w, the CPU Package DRAM is anywhere from 1.12 – 5.08. Is this normal, or high? My temperatures seem fine and idle between 45-57 C, And Max shortly at 85 during stress tests. So just not sure if the CPU Power Consumption HWmonitor reporting is normal or abnormal. I've attached two HWmonitor screenshots 1 normal idle cpu, one while FCP rendering. 24. Hi, Im glad to be a part of this forum. Just signed up 20 mins ago. I have an old macpro 2008 fully loaded using yosemite 10.10.5. I would not like to touch that OSX version but been curious with mojave on hackintosh PC. i also have a low/mid range gaming windows PC. My specs for my W7/10 dual boot (same SSD) windows PS are as follows: Motherboard: Asus P8B75-V Intel i7 3770k 8GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM Antec HCG 620W PSU Asus GTX 560 DC Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD Built everything in mid 2012. Will these hardware lets me install Mojave? If not, whats the max OSX i can install? Then worst case, will i be able to install atleast yosemite 10.10? I dont mind if i get Nullcpupowermanagement and not be able to use my bios C1 packages and sleep or any intel speedstep as i dont use them anyways in my windows OS. i just need it to work smoothly with MB audio built-in, wifi, ethernet, Usb port 2.0 and 3.0. im not a gamer but likes to use Logic pro X. was thinking of using the W10 partition for the hackintosh OSX but if possible, i could use a 64GB USB 3.0 thumbdrive. Thanks in advance.
