bofors
My 7900 GT CO, is not working well, it has QE, CE but it works for 2 seconds then hangs for like 30seconds, then works again for another 2 seconds and then hangs again for 30-60 seconds and so on, anyone with a 7900 series have this such of problems? So, are any other cards having problems with Titan? ... maybe omni can release a Titan.kext with dual display support? He stated that only one value needs to be changed so it couldnt take that longt to do it ? That would be nice, perhaps if ask really nice he help us out. I have started "Titan II" (for dual display support) thread here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=31833 I see our friend Omni is back on the case of making video cards work; this time though with nvidia. I would like to know more about what he is doing. it is a shame that he is so thin skinned and closed source (is he related to BillGates?) We, the community, might progress further and faster if he would share he work. I have always prefered nvidia over ati. I do have an nvidia card myself and I would love to help out I think we need to consider writing an open source version of Titan so that people can work with it. aed0101
Does anybody have success with GeForce 6800 PCIe NV41 based card (not GT or Ultra)? The Device ID is 00C1. I have tried to flash my video card with Leadtek Bios in order to change SubVendorID, SubSystemID and Board ID. Still no success. I get me a kernel panic at the moment when login window should start. I guess the problem is with the device ID. Does anybody have success with GF 6800GS PCIe or 6800LE PCIe? DVIL you have XFX 6600 GT and it works as I see. Is it AGP or PCIe? Can you tell its device ID please.

OBIwanKNO
Hi, the network card is working again and I can post a screenshot of the FX 5200 with QE and CI. XBench result is about 95 testing only quartz and open gl. I think that's good enough for this old graphic card.

aliquis
So 7600 gt, 7800gt, fx5200 and maybe a few others work. Which one works? Are someone putting together a list? Will more work if you add id numbers or do all of those cards work "out of the box"? Any chance an AGP board will work? What about my old GF4 ti-4200? (I'm on AMD so I can't try yet.) (GF4 Ti4200)Running on a SSE2 so im in the same position as you Lets keep eachother updated on our progress ? I'll probably buy a real mac anyway, since OS X is something I really want and therefor they deserves to get my money. (I doubt they are really worth over $2500 thought, but I suppose atleast I get a laptop as added bonus )Can't say the same thing about music, many movies, highend apps of which I use 2% of the functionality and such thought Titan works perfect on my Geforce 6800 LE AGP Full System specs Asus P5P800 SE Intel D920 Aus Geforce 6800 LE Internal Intel 1000 MT Internal AC97 Audio (Not working) WD 160GB PATA 2x512 Crosair Value DDR OSX 10.4.8 (JaS) with semthex kernel & Titan Nvidia driver Cool! Your other video scores are twice as fast as mine, though. The other user in this thread with Xbench v1.3 and a 7800 also had a lower score. Is this a problem with Xbench OpenGL testing?
