I don't wanna create controversy but I think the authors of those kernel patches should share the source diffs and not just post a pre-patched binary.

 

I mean, the kernel is the ideal place to put an undetectable rootkit. Not only would it reassure paranoids like me but it would be very interesting from a technical standpoint.

 

To the authors: don't take this the wrong way, I'm very grateful for your work but I think that's an issue worth being raised.

This isn't working on my Athlon but could Phenom users test. This should work on FX and be an improvement.

Thanks for this new AMD kernel and unfortunately it got too many invalid opcodes during booting for FX-6300 hackintosh at both 10.12.1 & 10.12.3.

Thanks for your hint which reminds me the correct way to test this new kernel.

After rebuild prelinkedkernel it can login desktop without issue now.

I'll try it later for Phenom II hackintosh and wish it can work too.

What version of 10.12 you want to test for this one ?

10.12GM, 10.12.1, or 10.12.3 ?

I have tested with all 3 versions and all got KP after VM Swap Subsystem is ON due to invalid opcodes.....
