  1. I guess I looked the wrong way on Github before posting my bad
  2. Hi there, I don't wanna create controversy but I think the authors of those kernel patches should share the source diffs and not just post a pre-patched binary. I mean, the kernel is the ideal place to put an undetectable rootkit. Not only would it reassure paranoids like me but it would be very interesting from a technical standpoint. To the authors: don't take this the wrong way, I'm very grateful for your work but I think that's an issue worth being raised.
  3. Fair enough. Everything is working fine on my install except one thing: Safari iCloud tabs aren't working, and there isn't any info on google besides Apple's very basic troubleshooting steps (which don't work). It's working between my macbook pro and my iphone tough, so maybe it's a hackintosh issue. edited: I meant Safari iCloud tabs
  4. Andy, Massive thanks as usual for your work. However you should be aware that your latest package is not patched for MBR partitions, and I had to manually patch the OSInstall framework and replace OSInstall.mpkg to make the installer work on my hybrid MBR/GUI partition. Cheers
  5. I'll let you know if I get it working. Actually, after I removed the DropSSDT option in the plist it actually loads the SSDT (checked with bdmesg) and boots but the ratios are still stuck to min and max. Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/DSDT.aml] 32167 bytes. Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/SSDT.aml] 988 bytes. ACPI table not found: SSDT-1.aml FADT: Restart Fix applied! FADT: Using custom DSDT! 6. Yup; tried the "over clocked core i5/i7" SSDT from the latest ###### and is hangs at the very beginning of the boot process.
  7. Hey Andy, thanks for the reply Actually it works I forgot to change the turbo ratio after the bios update, silly me... It's going between min and max ratio (16 and 45). Are you getting intermediate ratios like 35, 40, etc? If so, care to post a link to your bios? I tried to change the ratio setting between "by all cores" and "by each core" but I'm still stuck to 2 ratios. It's a small detail but I want to have a "perfect" hackintosh
  8. Hey Andy, Thanks for you continuing work on our favorite motherboard. That said, I've just updated my P8P67 PRO rev3.1 with the 2103 modified BIOS taken from here (P8P67 PRO REV3.1) and installed the 10.7.4 with the combo update. Replaced the AppleHDA.kext as indicated. As a result: Sound and sleep works, but the CPU multiplier is stuck to 35 I tried to removing GeneratePStates in the chameleon plist, and to build my own SSDT as recommended here http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=59889 using these instructions: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=60363 Is couldn't manage to get a workable SSDT.aml as the file was mostly empty, is this a result of the modified BIOS? So now I have native AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement and sleep which is great, but I'm stuck to low cpu speed... Any ideas? Do you have a SSDT.aml file that matches your setup?
  9. Hey Andy, Is there any specific procedure to upgrade from 10.7.2 to 10.7.3? I'm on a P8P67 Pro v.3.1 latest bios (non hacked) with your dsdt for sound fix, and speedstepper. Cheers!
  10. I really don't care about USB 3.0 so it's 100% for me Cheers!
  11. Yep, and also, sleep works flawlessly with PXHCD.kext removed -> 100% working hackintosh
  12. Fingers crossed but... everything seems stable on Lion as well now. A lesson for me: always double check every connection in the hardware before blaming the software Thanks for your help Andy, and the great driver package you made
  13. Thanks for replying so quickly! There is nothing plugged in the usb3 ports. I must confess that just I rechecked the power cord to my graphics card and now I am able to boot to my Snow Leo partition again. Haven't tried Lion yet, I'll report back if things are stable.
  14. Nothing seems to work. I get freezes even while booting from the USB stick, something is very wrong here. Could you share with us your modified bios file? I'm running out of time and options here...
  15. Ok, I've upgraded my old mackintosh (Q6600, P35DS3R) to a P8P67 PRO rev 3.1 with an Intel SB 2600K, and I'm having random freezes where the cursor can still be moved but everything else is frozen (keyboard unresponsive, cannot drag or click on anything) Same problems on both 2001 and 2103 BIOS, Tried many options in the BIOS, still having freezes. Weird messages in console include "nstat_lookup_entry failed 2" and USBF: transaction hasn't moved in 5 seconds. I suspect it's the graphics card (Sapphire Radeon HD5850); I've tried both with and without the graphics enabler, still the same problem. Also, I have both EPU and TPU switches turned on on the motherboard. Should those be turned off?
