BuIlDaLiBlE
Does it halt somewhere? Upload a picture.I said what it does. Spams indefinitely with "invalid kernel opcode (64-bit)".Nvm I'll just reinstall. What about audio then?

BuIlDaLiBlE
So apparently your AppleHDA doesn't work, but DPCIManager now shows more info about codecs:
Shaneee
Keep the HDAEnabler in place but use this AppleHDA, AppleHDA.kext.zip
BuIlDaLiBlE
Still no dice. DPCIManager now shows what it showed before.

BuIlDaLiBlE
Still doesn't work... Do I need "HDAEnabler" boot flag or not? Also I'm having issues with Chrome... dunno if you know about this or not but it resets my login into Google every time I relaunch it. I tried relogging but it still keeps logging me out. Don't remember for this to happen on my previous El Capitan installations... very weird.

I tried installing VoodooHDA and after boot it stucks on "Still waiting for root device".
Shaneee
Try the latest 2.8.9 VoodooHDA won't cause the root device error. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

pepitillo
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I have problems with new safari (don't know if you guys did the update). Flash videos are not allowed to play anymore in youtube (no matter what settings in safari), so there is the beautiful HTML5 player. The thing is that can't play properly hd videos, when flash played well. I know there was a time with Yosemite that there was a WebKit patch for AMD, there is something similar? Do you have guys this problem?

spakk
Do you use a patched dsdt? If not then use usb fix for your dsdt. Use the AMD.dmg from Rampage Dev, there you'll find a suitable dsdt for your mainboard, then check.
