You can drop the script into terminal and it will save your nvram.plist to root for you.  I noticed mine still isn't saving it for me, but I at least have an nvram.plist at root, hopefully serving some kind of purpose lol

So anyhow, I'm feeling like DP3 is pretty solid, feels a bit snappier and I'm Geekbench'ing about 800 points higher than I was on DP2.  Love it!

I didn't think about that!  - thank you,  now at least I have a nvram.plist.

Here is temporary fix for DP3 nvram.plist. Make sure you have to select install RC script to target partition in Clover installer:

sudo defaults write com.apple.loginwindow LogoutHook /private/etc/rc.shutdown.d/80.save_nvram_plist.local

Works like a charm, thanks bro :)

This is the same command that worked for me with DP2 but not working in DP3, yet thank you much...

EDIT: I reinstalled RCScripts and now it's working, thanks again.

I'm having trouble getting my system into icloud/AppStore/FaceTime/iMessage (using clover uefi, and with system definition MacBook Pro 11,2) my current smbios settings work under OS X Mavericks, so I'm a bit confused why it doesn't want to work under Yosemite at all. Anyone have any ideas? (Hp Envy 17" touch smart m7j010dx full specs are in signature)

Quick question guys. it's about the black screen after bootup issue, I read a few posts about but nothing really stood out as a solution so there's that, Is there any solution for this yet? I tried chameleon but can't even boot.

So Just tired Yosemite install using Cam boot loader and did update to Exisiting Mavericks 10.9.4 all is well running DP3 However slight weird thing going on with Cam boot loader,

Shows, Yosemite drive and then a partition for Mavericks Drive "Raid" that does not exist.. not even in Diskutility .. really weird..

Anythoughts?

Running of Dell Vistro 220 8GB DDR3 Nvidia 9800gtx intell Quad Core

So, this update DP3 has caused me some grief. Graphics panic seemed to be causing reboot on HD5000 when booting after the update.

After then rebooting from a DP2 copy and installing the AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext from DP2 into my DP3 it then has rebooted and got to the stage where it did the last part of "completing installation" and then got to desktop.

With the Azul kext from DP2 all is fine, but re-installing  the next from DP3 again causes display panic/re-boot, so problem is definitely the new kext.

I am using the usual default HD5000 frame buffer so now need to look at what is causing the problem in DP3 Azul Kext.

Anyone having issues with the HWMonitor.app only showing HDD & SSD temps in Yosemite?  The same app would show me readings of all my hardware in Mavs.  Is it FakeSMC/Yosemite?

Need to be able to monitor temps with my rig OC'd.  Thanks.

As far as I know from other users it works.

See if your kexts are incorrectly installed.

Got it, thanks.  I reinstalled a different FakeSMC.  Whatever was wrong with the one I had is fixed now lol

Thanks as always, sir  :thumbsup_anim:

Reinstall the update? Mine failed as well and I just booted up again and ran it one more time, worked like a charm.

I'm also curious if anyone else is not able to turn on Automatic Login for the main account?  It will let me enable it for a Guest User, but not for my main user.  Can anyone else confirm this or is it just me?

Well, I tried to run the pkg file from /Library/Updates/ that said there was an error and can't complete the installation...Then I noticed the appstore isn't loading up anything just the empty grey background with the MAS logo. Then I tried to logout, it loggedout to full empty grey screen then my desktop loaded up again on by it's own without going to the login screen lol. After that I rebooted and now kernelpanic on bootscreen. F*ck. XD

I think I'll just wait for DP4 or final and do a clean install... :D

I updated through MAS, restarted, it showed up the "Finishing installation" screen, that went to full as it should, then Desktop came as it should, and I'm still on DP2. wat.

So... now what?

I experience the same problem. What I did was reinstall DP1 and update to DP3. Works like a charm.

Untill yesterday my Yosemite DP3 was working fine... but today it stops at APPLEKEXTEXCLUDEDLIST... what could it be? Rebuild Kernel Cache?
If so, how can I do it without booting to Yosemite? I have another partition with Mavericks...
I'm sending a picture and my boot.plist
Can anyone help me?
Thank you!
