I am runing r4175

Sorry for th bad news guys

There are a few things wrong ! I dont know wich revision ?

I have my fan turning all the way before going back to the desktop and he starts turning about 30 more seconds to lower the temperature

I have never had this before on my Probook

 this is unheard of for me, this laptop is running normal like a Swiss Clock

Tomorrow I was going to go back to the stable revision known to me which is
4129 and do some testing without the  ivy patch and with my SSDT Powermanagement

EDIT ++++
I will also make a new installation with latest Clover
Maybe with all my test I have a devil inside?

I didnt touch kernel patch. I think maybe related kernel patch.

Did you enable kernelivy?

AnyX99 User can confirm that the versions above 4128 will cause KP?

Got no ideas anymore how to fix it...

Clover now uses AutoPatch for the kernel, which makes it difficult to point the problem. because kernel is not clean for x99

Ok here is what I found so far, the config will load according to what @apianti suggested, I created two folders inside OEM folder one is named P8H77-M LE and the other one is named Z170X-Gaming 5. upon boot clover will load the config.plist according to the system that I use my USB disk on. here is the log files:

If I use the USB disk to boot my Asus rig:

0:121 0:008 EFI\CLOVER\OEM\P8H77-M LE\config.plist loaded: Success

0:137 0:007 === [ Found config plists ] ===============================

0:137 0:000 - config.plist

and here is the log when I use it to boot my Z170X rig:

0:110 0:009 EFI\CLOVER\OEM\Z170X-Gaming 5\config.plist loaded: Success

0:124 0:008 === [ Found config plists ] ===============================

0:124 0:000 - config.plist

I checked both systems after the OS is loaded and the serial numbers are correct which means clover loaded the correct config for each file.

I notices that the kext files were not loading at first so I renamed the kext folder inside /EFI/Clover/kext to something else and made a full copy of each system's clover folder inside the OEM and the folders I created. and It worked :)

So with this we can have one backup USB for multiple systems? Eg Laptop and Desktop? Is the OEM folder already present?

What about different config for same system? Say Sierra and High Sierra?

What are you talking about? X99 is the worst platform, it's got all sorts of issues. I'm betting that the changes in config.plist are more likely the cause, as after 4128 there was a bunch of renaming, most importantly AsusAICPUPM -> AppleIntelCPUPM. This is another one of those situations that the patch must be done or no boot, so stop saying stupid stuff about whether something gets patched automatically or not. It's pretty easy to determine because these patches are known and you can look at the kext and kernel patch debug and see that it doesn't fail.

So with this we can have one backup USB for multiple systems? Eg Laptop and Desktop? Is the OEM folder already present?

Lol, ummm no, but what are you trying to do differently between these two? You can specify the OS version in some stuff, like patching.

For me that was the whole idea, to have a multi purpose USB disk just in case; and yes the OEM folder is already present.

About the different configs for the same system I don't think so, but as @apianti pointed out we can use the the MatchOS to specify the patch to a certain OS.

Same like r4128 right? Surely check?

Upload clover full log and what is your smbios model?

If you can check, try to check compared r4173 and r4174.

I just changed smbios model data and nvidia option order in gui.

Also upload r4175 overheat shot.

I use the OEM folder for years, even on the main drive where I have never changed anything in the clover folder except the OEM folder.

I see some old mainboards in your OEM folder. How does the clover manage to boot between legacy and UEFI? Is that even possible?

Here everything doesn't change with E3 1230 v2 + KernelIvyXCPM + MP6,1 SMBIOS + MBA7,2 FrequencyVectors, the temperature of my CPU is always around 40.

EDIT: I'm using Clover r4176 now.

I dont know what append to me I try to find it

Maybe with all my HS Install test I have a devil inside?

now with a frech install everything back to normal , I am not enable the patch for now

I'm sorry to hear that, it must be kind of unfortunate.

Yes. If you are fine with AICPUPM then there would not be really needed to enable XCPM.
