sandwer
Mine is. Specs below. My sawtooth is now my 2ndary machine. EDIT: If not. Why? What do you need to gain for it to become your main box? Specs below, - has been for three months now. My cube, quicksilver and G3 are now my secondary machines ;-/ Photoshop on them as and when... I needed parallels to run Lotus domino designer and administrator. Having said that, Crossover alpha 2/3 fulfils everything I might need from m$. Can't face using Mac Office 2004 thorugh rosetta - dog slow and pointless. I think I'd still like to see better dual monitor support though. Fingers crossed with the new 7300 drivers... //R

sandwer
Hey, does anyone now something like uTorrent for Mac? Need it to support Demonoid with fresh stuff..... Run Bitcomet/uTorrent under parallels? Thats what I do because my ISP traffic shapes so I can't use transmission. Azureus, the other option is a resource hog.... Actually, there _will_ be another way - Just tried this - uTorrent runs under Crossover. LOL....well I never. Getting closer and closer to not needing parallels. <ShelleyTambo> Bitchin' </ShelleyTambo> //R

ufulu
Although I have a dual boot I don't use windows a lot. And when I do, it feels sort of strange & annoying despite the fact that I have been using OS X for only half a year now. A Happy new Year and thanks to this magnificent & active forum. devilhood
I built up a nice little Hackintosh for my fiancé: Gigabyte 8IK1100 Rev 2.x i875P Motherboard P4 3.0 GHz Prescott OC'd to FSB 220 @ 3.2 GHz 1 Gig OCZ RAM 1:1 with 2-2-2-5 timings Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT (AGP) with full QE/CI using Natit Coolermaster Wave case with a nice little Apple sticker on the front Onboard sound, Ethernet, IDE, SATA, USB and Firewire all working 100% It's her main machine, so I voted on behalf of her. Yossarian
It took me ripping out old parts that weren't compatible and slowing replacing what I needed. Then along came 10.4.8 and Natit.kext, and now I'm fully functional. I rarely go into Windows these days. The gear I sold on ebay... ATI 9550 Emu 0404 Digidesign Digi001 HP Inkjet HP Scanner The replacements ... GeForce 6200 Integrated Motherboard Audio Digidesign M-Box 2 HP 1410 Printer/Scanner I also bought a Canopus ADVC-110 which works great as well! AldousHxlE
I use my Hackintosh for just about everything nowadays. I do have a Windows Server setup in my room as a NAT gateway, DHCP, Active Directory, and file sharing server, as well as for the occasional MAME/ZSNES session, but other than that I use OS X about 90% of the time.
