lol... The original revision of the F5D7000 is Broadcom 4306-based and amongst the best supported wireless cards in OS X. They've gone through just about every other chipset under the sun since then! My spare one has a Realtek chip which has PPC, but not Intel drivers... Realtek claim that since there's no Intel Macs which can ccomodate a PCI card, why should they support it? Can it be that hard to complie for Intel too? I doubt they're using assembly in their driver!

I realize that this message pre-dates this Macworld article, but has anyone tried to contact Realtek since then to see their stance on using an 8185 (or anything else) on a MacBook Pro with an ExpressCard -> Cardbus converter? There are no technical limitations to prevent such a thing!
