flow
Ati mobility 9600 AGP 64mb, Mac OS X 10.4.6 - get a black screen in b004, even after reboot. - work fine in b003. X300 64M tried 04 , first boot was a mess, second boot was a black maybe I changed the ATIRadeon9700GA.plugin for the QE/CI back in 003 version? confirmed: with original ATIRadeon9700.kext, ATIRadeon9700GA.plugin. 004 doesnt work on my x300 card so now back to version 3 Can anyone explain why my laptop goes to stand by when closing lid after I have installed callisto 003? And when I try to start it, it just freezes.. I'm sure it is because of Callisto.. Do anyone know how to solve that problem? well, I have the same problem, without the callisto3, the screen never goes to sleep, it just stops at last screen saver picture like a "frozen" state. and will be activated after you touch mouse or keyboard with the callisto003. it goes to black. and the machine is still WORKING ( Alt+F5) will activate voice and keeps talking. Peter Gammelgaard
Omni is soon ready with the 5 stage of his amazing alpha driver.. Omni Posted: Fri May 19, 2006 9:58 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have fixed the reboot screen garble in b004 but the black screen creeped up because of the blanking method I used. I removed that now so b005 will come up later on (few hrs or less, still need someone to test it out)
kday
i get black screen on my radeon mobility 9000. previous versions gave me a garbled screen. humph. please remove the link above. mods at least please obey omni's wishes. I'm not into kissing ass. Sorry. There is nothing wrong with what I posted, and I don't care if omni doesn't approve of it. The mods will remove it if it is oh so necessary. belgrano
I'm not into kissing ass. Sorry. There is nothing wrong with what I posted, and I don't care if omni doesn't approve of it. The mods will remove it if it is oh so necessary. Maybe you will care if omni stops developing the driver... This is form his site.... Please don't take the files or other content away from this site and host it elsewhere, I want to know how many people actually download it. I also want them to have the ability to read other things on this site as well and provide feedback. I know that you could bluntly steal all those pages from this site, and if you decide to do so then you better be prepared to take over the support and development of the driver, too, for I will not continue with it. The only thing you will succeed in is pissing me off never to update this page or work on the driver again.

mmk
About the mouse tearing .... It seems in the end that tearing is because of the framebuffer driver, and not the accelerator.... as with the ATINDRV hack there is no tearing at all ....
