cyclonefr
yeah the best version ever ! no need to buy X1600 dont u think so? the only last thing is the tearing but no matter since the mouse doesnt scramble anymore after exiting apps!
flow
My Dell Inspiron with a X300 is also working well. thanks Omni! one question, for the QE/ci we modified the 9700.kext. but how do we so sure it is 9700, not others? hmmmm
TribesMan
005 works like a charm on IBM T42... R9600 64MB 1400*1050... Thank you very much omni.

Peter Gammelgaard
005 doesn't work for me on my xpress 200... I get a screen out of sync.. The only version that works for me is 003...
TapaH
005 works fine for 9000 mobility. Now without any problems even after reboot! No more need for editing *boot.plist

denisvj
Omni works great at 1280 but at 1400x1050 but my windows when are moved get strange lines , i have a thinkpad t42 with 9600, switch resolutions is working fine and I have QE/CI enable with less mouse tearing . belgrano
Callisto 005 is working for me too, only that although I use a CRT monitor on VGA output is detected as LCD and I can see only 3 resolutions. But on DVI (with DVI-to-VGA adapter) it's almost perfect. omni great job! ...MouseLocator, with MouseLocator-ShadowMouse.png for superior tearing control. quixos thanks buddy! I used Mousepose, I didn't know MouseLocator is so good! Now I have shadow for my mouse too.
flibblesan
Great work, Omni! Latest callisto working here with an ATI 9550 128mb AGP. I used MouseLocator to keep the tearing down, and it's hardly noticable. But damn - QE & CI enabled is the win!
Takuro
I'm getting a 100% success rate when booting into OS X with a 1680x1050 resolution. Very very nice! Is there a script to appy the 1680x1050 res at the actual boot screen, instead of after logging in?

Is there a script to appy the 1680x1050 res at the actual boot screen, instead of after logging in? I edited IONDRVSupport and replaced "IONDRVFrambuffer" with "CallistoFB" in Info.plist (3 places). That did it for me, no more loggin!

Which 3 places? There is only one place, in one file, in /System/Library/Extensions, a file called ATIRadeonXXXXGA.plugin (well XXXX is 8500, 9700 or X1000, depending on your video card).
