  1. well I managed to finally get sound by installing the USB soundblaster option on the Jas 10.4.6 DVD.
  2. anyone? I'm pretty new to this stuff and was wondering if it had anything to do with audio kexts or something to that extent. anyone care to expand on that?
  3. I have a Nexxtech USB audio adapter which worked great in 10.4.3 (recognized as built in audio). But now that I've upgraded to 10.4.6 it won't work, the System Profiler sees it in the USB settings as "C-media USB headphone set" but unfortunately isn't recognised by built in audio. I was hoping maybe someone else had encountered this problem and could help me out.

when changing resolution or refresh rates with build 004 I get a screen which tells me to hold down the power button and restart. Computer restarts fine back in 1024x768 @60hz. using 10.4.6 Jas patch x800xt PCIE 5d57 *EDIT* I reinstalled and no longer get the "hold power button" screen. just plain old out of range when switching res.

I'm getting the same result with my PCI-e x800xt (id 5d57). I'm currently running 10.4.3, but I'll update to 10.4.6 later today and see if there is a difference. Also, I'm using a couple of Dell CRT monitors
