Dear lastExile:

My card is Onda 2600 Pro work on iPc 10.5.6(AMD cpu).

I use the 2600pro pci.pkg,installed and reboot.

In System Profiler.Display ATI Radeon HD 2600XT(no right).

I get good Resolutions 1440x900 in LG 19w inch monitor,but no CI/QE.

Google it,and find someone solved the problem.

He update 2600pro graphics card bios with 2600XT then can get CI/QE.

I follow what he do,but not successful.

My English not very good, please forgive me.

Can you give me some help? Thank you.

amihot

You need only two kext's and os > 10.5.4 for full qe/ci support with Megadolon

I've attached them in my post (few messages above yours)

Hi all. I've installed package for ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 from the link in first post and crapped my system. After an Apple mark and loading indicator there must be a login screen, but I have only some sort of Modern-Art on my screen.

Platform - notebook Toshiba Sattelite A300-1JJ with marked Video adapter.

P.S. Some can explain me how can I remove this package from -s -x mode in Darwin?

Hi to all friends,

I have an old and esotic config for yours standards:

Pentium 4 3.00ghz northwood C

Gigabyte 8ik1100 with Intel i875P chipset

and..... an ATI Radeon 3650 AGP :thumbsup_anim:

I've tried to install iDeneb 1.4 1.5.6. The installer include support of "Radeon 3650 AGP" directly in the package list.

The problem?

After installation i've got a gray screen after the apple logo loading.

The first time I tried to include "AGPGart" from the installation package list, the second time I've deselected it..but nothing..always gray screen..

What can I do?

If I can't fix this problem, could someone tell me a valid AGP card with full leopard support? (QE/CI enabled :))

As i get no qe/ci with my iPC install i woner what is meant by this?

Repairing rights, using efi strings, quarz gl .. ?

Hello all. This forum is really great thing. My Radeon HD 3650 (1024mb id:9598) worked flawlessly with "ATI Radeon HD" package under 10.5.2, .3, .5 (downloaded here in november, installed with Pacifist). But when i tried to install new "2 days after new year" package - all i get is disco screen. Tried on clean install - no way!

I have problems with waking up my display - can hear system sounds, but display remains standby. Thought new package will fix this.

Hello comrades. I'm from Ukraine sorry for English.

Do we have any good news for ATi 3470HD Mobility?

Or is there any way to make 1280x800 for this videocard w/o proper kexts? Guys please help. ;) Thanks in advance.

ps: I tried to use Natit.kext and edited com.apple.boot.plist for 1280x800 and nothing worked, unfortunately...

I have Asus HD3650 Silent Magic 512MB PCIe.

After reading all the topic and trying different drivers. I always have funny cubs on the screen.

The only thing that worked for me is ATI x2000 source version 53410 plus natit for HD3650.pkg.zip.

I'm using iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 (also worked on 10.5.5).

I hope this helps as I see a lot of people facing the same problem.

The only problem left is Sleep (Shutdown/Reboot works fine).

The installer for Radeon HD3650 Agp doesn`t work on Foxconn P4M800 with Prescott CPU.

Device Id Showed as 0x9596 and Vendor as 0x1002 (ATI). The thing is that the Gr. card is Asus AH 3650 Silent.

As mentioned above I got nothing but Kernel panic with Sandbox init error........

I heard that Injectors are not working with 10.5.5 kexts! True ?

Are we limited to EFI strings in this case ?

A bit closer:

I installed older pkg Installer for hd3650 (last edition before 2 days...). Result is:

- No kernel panic with -x -v

- Boots normally until the...

- when the login window should appear I got nothing but black screen

- If I type password, I can hear the complete load of Desktop - still black screen

- If I press shutdown button, the computer shuts down normally

- tried with both DVI connector - using DVI to VGA adapter because of old CRT display- no luck

The computer seems to be working normally, but no picture!

Any hints?

I got Sapphire Radeon 3850 1Gb

Did someone got my problem?

I got succesfull run at safemode, but got only mouse working and background desktop color at 'normal' mode run.

I've changed Safe Boot to Root in Natis.kext, but still the same.

At least i can not determine where does it fail - in video or in smthing else?

I got iPC 10.5.6 build.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 -> Voodoo kernel installed

M2N Motherboard -> nForce 470 chipset-> nForce package installed

If something is needed more, i'll post it.

P.S. Sorry for my English =P

Thanks to Revengangel to upload the "old" package for ATI HD 3650 !

I got Asus AH3650 AGP 512MB DDR2 Silent fully working on Foxconn P4M800 with Prescott Celeron 3.06.

It is true, that is showed as HD3600 Series 512 MB but Core image is hardware accelerated, and all options available.

I actually made a mistake (forgot), by not setting the appropriate settings in BIOS - At AGP settings the display type should be set to DVI / DVI.

The only thing what is bothering me is appropriate setting of AGP Aperture Size - I put it at 64 MB, because I want to try the right AGPGart ( Have to ask Slice about that :( ).

I have a low profile ati 2400XT with dual DVI. I am using DVI to HDMI cable. I cannot get this driver to work. I install using supplied 2400XT package and then I have to modify and install the ATIRadeonX2000.kext file to add my device ID and install it with OSx86 Tools. On restart I do "-v -f". When I restart I get a screen that is mostly black with a spare bit of colored pixels. If I mode the mouse around the colors change. If I hold down the power button to force the machine to shutoff, as soon as I press the power the display changes into something where you can sort of see icons in a weried effect(You can see the top half of an icon then another part of the desktop. It is really hard to explain.)

Any Ideas?
