10.5.2 Due Soon

Numberzz

Developers were just seeded a new build of Mac OS X Leopard, 9C20. The update includes many fixes, and it seems that Apple is supposed to release it as soon as Friday. The update is said to weigh in at over 400MB, which is much more than previously reported. What's also interesting is that it appears that Apple took the graphics drivers and put them in another update that will be available after you install the 10.5.2 update. Leopard Graphics Update is what it is called, and I'm sure you can install it via Pacifist. The update is supposed to include many bug fixes, but there are a few main features that are supposed to be included.

- DVD/CD Sharing (Probably for MacBook Air)

- Optional translucent menu bar:

Aint 12 in San Fran yet. just because it is 12 where you are does not mean your gonna get it. I hope it is today.

TBH, I do not see why it will be today anyway. Some say because of the Air, that could ship with a modified OS X with the Drivers it needs. I bet X.5.2 does not come today.

All this time elapsed and not a single clandestine source for the 10.5.2 update (that is, the 'beta' 9C23 build)...pity. I remember all the leaks of the 10.4.X Tiger updates, but beta build of Leopard updates are nowhere to be found. Oh well, my gut is telling me that Friday might be the day for the update.

groupies even copy you word for word.

What's the matter clide, are you too good to follow your own advice? Weird ;)

9C23 having probs with my autofiil passwords in Safari

Oh no, I hope they don't mess up Safari :)

I think you just convinced us to be prudent and not to be one of the first to install 10.5.2 :D

When 10.5.2 is officially released, could you please test the autofill passwords again and let us know if you're still having problems?

Exciting.

Any word of an OSX86 release?

well im running kalyway 10.5.1 with no problems, but i sure won't be the first to download and install the new update until i see how it effects other hackintoshes.

but i would think we shouldnt have a problem installing 10.5.2 through apple update site. unless you plan on doing a brand new install all over again.

Why Tuesday? What's so special about next Tuesday?

I wonder if it's to do with the date? 10.5.2 - forget the 10 but 5th of Feb = 5.2...

Anybody else agree?

SC

it's not the medicine about cancer

it's just an update man
