I made very detailed instructions and if you missed one step then it will not work. Also 1. You will not have a sound if AudioDxe.kext is present 2. Look carefully on VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist. There are instructions what to tune. 3. What sound are you expecting, from Jack or from HDMI? 4. Don't look to system info or to hacking tool. They are not correct. I have exactly same kext and exactly same Ventura. The VoodooHDA.kext is working in Ventura. Or not? You have other Ventura? 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356926-voodoohda-not-loading-on-ventura/#findComment-2806180 Share on other sites
Human7900
Thanks you so much @Slice! Got it to work by removing Audiodxe! 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356926-voodoohda-not-loading-on-ventura/#findComment-2806192 Share on other sites

How do i exactly disable Audiodxe? Is it the Audiodxe.efi or a kext which im trying to locate but cant see it? Slice
It is AudioDxe.efi in EFI folder. It is good thing but it puts audio chip into unknown state and then VoodooHDA can't start sound. So AudioDxe.efi must be dropped away. It is a toy during boot not more. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/356926-voodoohda-not-loading-on-ventura/#findComment-2814274 Share on other sites
