Lunks
Could you try to understand what has made your WiFi working and if it's bcm4311? Mine seems to work, but wifi led is 'purple', which indicates red and blue lights are turned on, so it must be 'close' to get my wifi on set. wyzazz
@Lunks The tx2000 and tx1000 series have the Broadcom 4321 adapters in them. Leo4Allv2, in our cases worked out of the box. Unfortunately, above and beyond that, I dont' know what would make it work. This does seem to work Ok on Leo4All v2 but not v3 Alex Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/12/#findComment-732048 Share on other sites
soccuvoiswape
GUUUUYYYYYSSSSS!!!! .......it's a plesure for me to say that finally i did it.... fully working azalia drivers on leo4allv2 .....without doing anything special after days of hard and stupid work........ .. (1)...the problem of v2 audio was with azalia audio permissions...... . so . "JUST" use "extensions repair" application of leo4allv2 after u installed azalia package...then reboot and the audio will work full volume control(no front panel)!!!! .. . now just waiting for qe/ci ....and the power button issue to be solved.... (2)...another thing ...my tx1020ea wifi is bcm4311 ...and it is fully working with leo4allv2 ...it doesn't work with v3.... ... ... and(according with my 3 days experiments on v2 and v3) it doesn't work 'couse of new powermanagement kext!!! so i think we need a new powermanagement.... couse we can't install v2 powermanagement on v3.... thanks ... now i really have no problems.....if u explain how to theorically adjust qe/ci of geforce 6150 i will try to work on it!!!! bye bye thanks so much!!! soccuvoiswape
alex---believe me ..i went crazy trying to make wifi work on v3..... the only thing i didn't try (and i think it could be that one the right one)is to use the old acpi kext(choosing from the install dvd) becouse new v3 powerbundle apic and acpi kext give problems to our wifi....i didn't try it ....so if u want try it for me....then ....if it doesn't work....the best thing is to install v2 with nforce/nforcetest azalia forcedeth nvinjectgo and the fixes...then use extensions repair (u can find it in apps) to fix azalia audio and have full control on the audio....last things to do are activate ink and install tx1000.pkg .... at this point u'll have touch, wifi and audio.....the only thing u'll not have is the battery icon.....we actually can't use powermanagement.pkg of v3 to fix this because it gives problem to our wifi( the same problem u actually have) i have a question....why the yellow script on v2 immediately after powerbutton issue????? it says fail to open extensions ps2nub .... what problem is it?can it be fixed or the fix could give problems??? how to fix it???)after installing tx1000.pkg u could loose again the audio control couse it installs alcinject.kext...so do not install it or install again azalia and extansions repair! TsukasaTiger
okay so, all the pictures I took suck, you cant see anything and suddenly my time is on track again, its always either vista or leopard that is off by a few hours, I dont understand why. I have a stupid question though. How do I find out which model I have? even when I look in the bios, it says I have just "tx 1000" I cant find anywhere on this thing where to find its actual model. and I cant look at the box cause I bought it off my room mate who is stupid and downloaded so much {censored} in vista that it killed his boot. and he figured it was just broken so I got it off him for $200 lol now hes all wanting to buy iy back but screw that, this is gunna be my deployment laptop. wyzazz
@Tsukasa Try downloading the Dual Boot Time Fix in my sig. That should get your time correct in both OS's after a little fiddling. The reason they're off is because OSX reads the time from the BIOS differently than Windows, one is GMT vs Local Time. The download will make OSX read Local Time instead of GMT. Just make sure you go in to the BIOS and set your time to your Local Time, then set OSX, then set Windows. That should do it for you. Ace of Shades
Hi, I've been following this topic closely and managed to get a very functional setup using Leo4All v2 on my custom TX1000. Everything works for the most part except QE and the booting without power cable issues. On occasion, a really irritating issue with my wifi comes up; it works fine with my wifi at home, but at other locations, I can pick up the wireless and connect to the wifi station, but I can't access anything on the internet itself. Any ideas on why this happens? Any ideas on why this happens? Hmmm, interesting. I've never seen that before, can you ping anything on the internet when this happens? (ping www.yahoo.com) Could you possibly set your DNS Server addresses manually (4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2, 4.2.2.3 are some good ones from Verizon) and see if that helps? Any other information you can send my way will help me diagnose this issue. Tried what you suggested before using both Network Utilities and the terminal When pinging yahoo, I receive: Ping has started ... ping: cannot resolve www.yahoo.com: Unknown host When setting manual DNS, same issue arises. Also when checking my cards information in network utility, this is what it shows: Hardware Address: 00:1a:73:71:bf:6d IP Address: provided Link speed: 54 Mbit/s Link status: active Transfer statistics: Sent Packets: 372 (increases slowly) Send Errors: 0 Recv Packets: 852 (increases slowly) Recv Errors: 0 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/12/#findComment-733279 Share on other sites

I did use the extensions repair, it still seemed to give errors, atleast up untill I did the bios downgrade. Processor Name: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 Processor Speed: 2 GHz Total Number Of Cores: 2 pulled right from system profiler wow, just saw something odd, in system profiler, under audio, it says there is no built-in audio, yet there is sound. anyone else getting that? Edit/addon question: another odd thing that I noticed, when ever I try to use the character pallet or "special characters" menu. It pops up a window, but its just a gray box with the top bar, and it then closes and pops back up every few seconds and continues to do so wether I hit the close or not, only way to get ride of it is to go to my language flag and close it in there. Alex DeWolf
Ok I have re-installed Leo4AllV2. After installing all the kexts and the 2 packages from the tx1000Pack and removing IONDRVSupport.kext, I then ran the Extensions Repair from the Acessories directory and WIFI works but sound is stuck on full and no headphone sound. What kext(s) do i need off the Leo4AllV3 DVD do I need for sound? Any movement on QE/CI support? nafreyu
Hello mates. I guess you know that but the latest and safer BIOS update for our HP-MACblets is the SP38632.EXE (BIOS F.1D) it bios is for Vista, but I guess you can find some for XP (remember the older bios only appears in english updates) If you want to have sound with volume controls, but without mic use the AppleAzaliaAudio.kext If you want to have sount without volume controls, but with mic use Taruga's ALCinject.kext and AppleHDA.kext If you have the tree kext MAC is going to use the first one it found (ApplaAzaliaAudio), so try just une of the two options Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87077-hp-tx1000z-tablet-compatibility-with-leopard/page/12/#findComment-733582 Share on other sites
