@gg74

Give artistru's suggestion a try. Install the ACPI 1.03 from Leo4Allv3

@artistru

Mind posting that package? (ACPI 1.03 from Leo4Allv3)

@DuperMan

No touchscreen calibration still... ...take a look at that readme in the_29's package, it should help you out with a lot. Alternatively you can do the noob thing and just install my mpkg file.

@Nicholas

The HD should be fairly easy for you to replace, just undo the 2 screws and pull off the bottom plate. Be ginger with the cables and connectors. Out of curiosity, why are you going to replace yours? Going with SSD???

Sorry to keep on this.

Where are we with:

QE/CI

Battery boot

Other than this everything works well on leo4allv2. My wireless is a Broadcom 4328 rev 03 and does not work with leo4allv3.

I reinstalled last night...

Seems i forgot to remove IODRV the last time

Still no go on the wifi though... guess it's a hardware id issue now

BCM94312=4312 for the id right?

another weird thing: i don't have the mouse and keyboard app in system preferences nowO_o

Oh, and i'm getting 'acip not 014 as expected' at boot, anyone else getting that one?

APIC FIX installed

Attached is the guide I put together. I put it in an .rtf format so it can be edited if needed, please let me know if something in the guide is incorrect, or needs to be better explained. I am working strictly from memory here.

Edit 05/14/08: Updated guide to add Apple Azalia Audio, and BIOS downgrade

Thanks for the guide wyz!

Lol thought i won't have the time but i made some, just installed to a usb drive this time 'round:)

Tried installing again with the guide, is cool... no better nor worse then before though

Has anybody gotten around to testing the expresscard slot?

USB dongles are a nightmare with a tablet but an expresscard wifi should be sweet

Am off to trash my machine once more :(

Mhm!

I downloaded the sources for natit from nvinject and in the sources there is no GeForce Go 6150 listed (no ID).

So maybe when i add this it can start with natit!

Because this entries are also in natit: { "0x0161", "GeForce 6200 TurboCache"} ,

And the { "0x0241", "NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE"} , is also in it!

But i need a HowTO for compiling natit!

A quick and tricky question:

On boot i'm told that applepciconfigurator has dual dependencies.

It dependes on kpi and kernel. How can i remove one of them from boot sequence?

BTW

Installed leo4allV3 and it works as before lol

I hate my mobo

@DuperMan

I honestly don't understand why you are having so many issues with your install. Do you know what revision of the motherboard you have? I can view mine with Everest (Quanta 30E5). Is yours the same as mine?

I'll get a print of it next time i boot to windows.

You had any luck replacing nvinject with nvkush? there's supposed to be a way to point nvkush to the device manually but i sorta clicked through the tip and can't even remember if it was in a forum or in the installer or what

OMFG!

I hate this {censored} in search function in this forum..

I find NOTHING! Search for nvkush and you got 2 threads.. (Great function)

Or search this thread for BIOS and you will find nothing..

Here you go: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=712324

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=713191

As i posted there, it is a BIOS Error (hang up or not booting without ac plugged in)

When i changed the boot options to acpi=off i got no kernel panic, during boot! But it never booted.. Maybe you can try some other options described in the thread from the 2nd link.

And funny2: I cannot watch THIS thread with firefox anymore.. Just got empty page :censored2:

Thanks DuperMan and the_29.

I was running 64bit Fedora 9 but I can't get a working Java install (My Epson CX-11N uses java for the web based management). So back to Leo4Allv2 and the additional kexts .

nvkush info:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?aut...p;showentry=378

I already posed a question there about the Nvidia Go 6150 with shared memory.
