track09
downlaoding now, but not installing yet, can someone tell me if this should work flawless on a vanilla kalyway install? I'm gonna give it a go on Kalyway 10.5.1 vanilla. I just installed today, and I have little to loose. I promised myself that if I can't receive Apple upgrades, I would not continue to run the hacked os. I'll report back, hopefully from 10.5.2. The Baron
Come on guys! One of you must be willing to sacrifice their setup for the greater good... Netkas has already done the hard work, he has even provided a little script to help out the slow-of-mouse. Back up yr kexts first though, you'll need a couple. apowerr
This is great news for Mac users! This is even better news for AMD owners who want an easy OSX86 release. Now that 10.5.2 is out, Zephyroth Release 2 is around the corner Overall, this is actually quite good for the OSX86 community as a whole. Sabr
I dont have iatkos so i dont know "So, does that mean is safe to install in an iATKOS 10.5.1 with EFI?" You just installed through Software Update and it was working? No kext replacing or anything? Konami®
for the hackintosh with EFI, I think you need to replace some kext, specially the dsmos.kext and Appleintelpowermanagement.kext, these two could cause problems. I am using iatkos and using all kexts from 10.5.1 without any replacement or modification. I only deleted the two kexts mentioned above.
