How do you use Comcast's free usenet???

 

Follow the steps below:

1. Go to http://www.comcast.net

2. Log on to your primary comcast.net account

3. Go to Member Services page

4. Click Manage My Account

5. Click Access Newsgroups (You will only be able to access from Comcast’s

network)

6. From the Giganews Welcome screen enter your full name

7. Enter your primary comcast.net user name/log in (example: username).

Do not include the domain name.

8. Review Terms and Policies and Click Yes if you accept

9. Click Enable Account

10. Click Finish on the “Congratulations! Welcome to Giganews!” page

11. After 30 minutes, check your primary comcast.net e-mail account for

your ID and password for your newsgroup account.

Have a good feeling about this release, judging by how fast this thread is going and that this seems to be a scene release. Judging by the ISO, I'm guessing someone got their hands on a physical disc and simply named it ISO instead of DMG. As far as I can tell they are basically the same anyway.

what the differnce between the par and rar one.? why confuse the situation.

 

PAR(2) files are parity files. They basically let you recover chunks of data that have either been corrupted or simply lost. This is extremely useful for Usenet, as many files become corrupted over time as they fall off a given news server. It's not confusing the situation, it's helping people.
