Lagmac
Hello. I have installed the latest iwi3945.kext, but nothing has happened. In system log i read these lines: iwi3945 : disable 0 led 1 mode 0 iwi3945 : darwin_iwi3945 map is zero iwi3945 : todo : freeing What does it means ? Another question : how i can create the log files ? My notebook is an ACER Travelmate 4220. WickDC
No panic with the latest iwi3945....there's an ethernet option in my network now. (I don't have a working wired driver, so it was greyed out before.) So if the "NetworkSelector" isn't setup to work with the 3945 yet, is there any way to try connecting to a network? Or are we still in overall driver testing phase?? I don't see any settings inside the kext that would lead to this and manually setting the ethernet settings won't work since there's not a network name anywhere. THANKS! sev7en
hi !!!!!! please I don't find NetworkSelector where is it ??? It's with the iwi2200 package but if you have a 3945 adapter, it doesn't work. sev7en
Back So I installed latest test version of 3945 iwi's driver and as you can see from the picture, the network adapter has been found by OSX but not enabled. How do I do to turn it up without the NetworkSelector tool? P.S: In attachment, the usual logs (system.log is 0 size for me). Cheers and of course... thanks! dmesg.txt ioreg.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/72/#findComment-349584 Share on other sites
-Bj
Ok, I got this thing to work but apparently, theres a problem of wireless being INSANELY slow. My router would be fine but it could take minutes to open up a webpage. I have the 2200bg card btw. Cristian
May I contribute to this cause by donating a 3945A/B/G card. I just need some one or some people to pay for the shipping and I will ship this to the person that is coding or what ever it is called. BTW I am also selling the working model of the Dell card 1490 card. PM me or email me for more info on buying the card or helping in the donation for the shipping. osxonmylaptop
Hi all, Installed ver 352 (can you identify it somewhere? like in the pkg name, or in the license agreement?) Still not panic, but still nothing happened, in the picture see 2 new "Ethernet Adaptor" in network ports, I don't know if they are from Parallels (I guess they are). In kextstat I have: 64 0 0x29b33000 0x45000 0x44000 darwin.iwi3945 (1.0.0d1) <62 16 11 2> See logs.
