Russ-ST24
Hi, First time posting in this thread, I have a Lenovo X60 Tablet with the 3945 card. I have installed the latest driver rev about 30 mins ago and now it allows me apply the settings in the network preferences. When I reboot it panics on the first login. I then reboot and it comes up fine. Cant see the adaptor in preferences status, but it does show in ifconfig but no way of associating it with an access point. I have attached the demsg.txt for you to look at. Let me know if you need any more logs and where I may find them for you. I am running JaS 10.4.8 Kernel 8.8.1 Happy to keep testing for you. Thanks for the great work. Russ dmesg.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/71/#findComment-348681 Share on other sites
Russ-ST24
One more question while I am thinking about it. When this driver works will it show up in the airport config? If not how would I select which SSID to connect to etc. Also how do I know its not working now as at least it shows up and is visable as an interface just lack SSID options. Thanks for you advice. jalavoui
i noticed something about the driver..... i noticed that only B is activated when G is available for use... jalavoui, any way to turn on G mode? as in making the D54 work.... i suspect that this as to do with the geography. iwi uses a struct to old channels/modes - maybe they're not right. i remember kazu as an issue with this. can you check this structure in code? for instance, where i am i get (in static const struct ieee80211_geo ipw_geos[]) "ZZM", 11, NULL, {{2412, 1}, {2417, 2}, {2422, 3}, {2427, 4}, {2432, 5}, {2437, 6}, {2442, 7}, {2447, 8}, {2452, 9}, {2457, 10}, {2462, 11}}, NULL this is a good issues for someone to check if you have a 2915 card iwi2100 if the driver is giving kernel panic, ost the picture so i can try to fix it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/71/#findComment-348773 Share on other sites

Pablo(2)
No, the 10.4.8 and the 10.4.9 work aswell, i don't know about the previous versions tho...I don't even know if it's still included Deamobile, I see in your posting that you have a Toshiba laptop that has a very similar configuration as mine; specifically the Realtek ALC861 sound card. How did you get this to work ? I have not had any success. blindmist
ok, i must be an idiot. I have seen people say that their 2200 is being recognized as an airport card, but mine does not, it recognizes it as a pci ethernet slot. can someone type up an up-to-date install for the 2200? i am completely lost. if i get my wireless card to be able to connect to my student wireless here at school (encrpyted) then my hackintosh will be perfect. Every piece of hardware will work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/36976-intel-wireless-driver/page/71/#findComment-348907 Share on other sites
