I don't have Netflix

but Chrome works fine

Chrome works here too. Only in Netflix when you press play and complain about protected contents then goes back to main netflix menu

This build requires ami=0x80 in boot-args

As said, this makes Firefox and some other apps stop working.

All current EFI folders are in my profile repository on GitHub. Wi-Fi doesn't work because this fork isn't from Dortania at all. I used the OCLP 3.0.0 nightly build from here. By the way, if anyone needs it, hurry up to download (It does not require amfi=0x80 boot-arg).

That's why I wanted to use this one but.it states "Unsopported Host OS"…

The repository you refer to does not support Tahoe!

Use the one linked in post 1 and be happy that it works! 😉

You have to live with ami=0x80 for now.

I need PurgePendingUpdate, but I couldn't find where to download it.

I'm afraid that this tool is only available in the official discord (https://discord.com/channels and the channel is OpenCore Patcher Paradise), probably in the first info post. I don't go there for a long time ago but I remember that the tool was available there.

EDIT: got it. If you are on Tahoe and can't open it, use xattr:

xattr displays extended attributes:

> sudo xattr Blocked_app > com.apple.quarantine

xattr -cr removes extended attributes:

> sudo xattr -cr Blocked_app

ERROR in patch 3.0 for HD630 graphics and AppleHDA audio on OLD2: computer. It doesn't download the KDK correctly, and if we do it manually it doesn't work either; it won't let me apply just the HD630 graphics patch and patch the AppleHDA separately.

Intel 7260 works perfectly

Screenshot 2025-12-06 alle 18.32.43.pngHi, I'm glad that Intel 7265 works for you with airport. My Intel 8265 with Tahoe I couldn't and I have to use eliport. I tried several guides and patches but it still doesn't work and I ask you if you can explain here, or if you want to send a PM, which kext and the various steps because I didn't understand why from the first photo you can see the kext Airport BCRM fix that is mentioned in any guide, in the Device list you can see and therefore you only use the PCi BCRM not the Intel Pci. Which OCLP you used and how. In short, a guide for Intel that everyone talks about Bradcom. Thanks if you do it

@all I have reverted back to "normal operation" after I got all my three hacks sort of working perfectly in "most" respects.

The problem I am facing is not only that Firefox is not working, I can live with that, but other serious errors surfaced compelling me

to revert and remove OCLP 3.0.0 altogether.

I am running a NFS based distributed network for which I have written a universal "Control Center" which is installed on each computer that is participating in the "distributed network?, making up my computing environment.

This "Control Center" has been working flawlessly for many years, surviving many macOS upgrades with only an occasional need to

tinker with the code base. This time though it seems that a mayor effort may be required to get it working again the way it should.

I consider it therefore prudent to await the day that one can run OCLP 3.0.0 without ami=0x80 as a boot agrument and will then try again with the AMFIPass.kext having taken over again.

The Fenvi T919 firmware replacement method does not cause any of these problems except that it totally screws up sleep as well a shutdown.

The firmware replacement for a compatible Fenvi add-on PCIe card would in any case be my favorite solution if I had a choice further down the line.

Greetings Henties.

To me, airdrop is random, sometimes works, sometimes not. Also, I found another issue and this is not because of OCLP. Personal hotspot not working. Even if the iPhone is connected with the computer through USB. The computer sees the iphone, via hotspot, the iphone sees the computer, but no traffic.

@Henties and @XanthraX both of you I feel your pain, Prior to this 26.2 and OCLP Nightly, I had both WIFI and Ethernet working albeit no Air Drop or Hand Off to iPhone Camera.

I spent 3 solid days trying to get WIFI working on 26.2 with clean installations and even replacing the genuine Apple WIFI B/T with the Fenvi T-919 and still no good result.

Just to prove the fault was not something I was doing in error, I clean installed 26.1 again with the appropriate version of OCLP-Mod and behold WIFI AND Ethernet was available.

The sheer frustration that brought on cussing and mumbling incoherently to myself, cause the wife to present me with an M4 Mac mini as an early Xmas present that brought on instant relief.

My Hack journey as a hobby was a pleasant journey until the introduction of Tahoe. From its first introduction, I was a week behind most members getting it installed on my machine.

With this Mac mini, everything just work, boot up takes 5 seconds to the Desktop, I am learning the AI apps and functions that was lacking in the Hack.

I have now retired the Hack in its entirety to a dark corner of a cupboard never to see the light of day. :)

The curious nature within me will still compel me to frequent the IM Forums from time to time but conversation participations will be absent.

I will once again regress to be an official Lurker, which won't be a bad thing as lately here I am not exactly flavour of the month in some quarters. :hysterical:

Cheers.

Well, at least for me, I have always enjoyed your involvement here.

The Mac M4 Mini is an amazing little machine (I used to have one - but I needed better Graphics performance or I would still have it!)!  Congrats!

I too despise Tahoe - nothing but trouble - unless you have an M-series Mac.  On my M4 Studio or M1 Macbook it runs fine, but Tahoe has always been a problem on Intel machines.

Given that Tahoe is the end for Intel support on macos, it's probably time for you to just enjoy your Mini!  It's time for all of us to consider moving on, actually.

All the best!

Congratulations and Merry Christmas, this is quite an occasion. You will have to keep us informed on Apple AI and such. I was told I let loose at a trip to the hospital recently. I have no memory of it but I guess I didn't want to be there. Some other things are to be thankful for. Dreadzone just had a concert in London. Take the wife to one soon.

@eSaF, Bro! This is a great loss for the community. You could have at least waited until we all retired in autumn 2026.  Who's going to provide the British humor on the forum now? 🤨 I hope you get bored with your Mac Mini soon and we'll see you back on the front lines.

All the best, KGP :thumbsup_anim:

ERRORE nella patch 3.0 per la grafica HD630 e l'audio AppleHDA su OLD2: computer. Non scarica correttamente il KDK, e se lo facciamo manualmente non funziona; non mi permette di applicare solo la patch grafica HD630 e di correggere l'AppleHDA separatamente.

Hi all,

I applied OCLP 3.0.0 but after downloading KDK 50C5048a I keep getting error : cannot find metallibs 50C5048a... is this mean that OCLP is not for Tahoe yet and is for Sequoia and lower?

BTW, radeon rx 6600 did not work with Tahoe, I installed Nvidia Kepler and Tahoe logged in to desktop

The fork of OCLP 3.0.0 Nightly is for Wi-Fi and AppleHDA only!

this is what I am intending to install it for wifi T919 and HDA

The problem is, that Izhoang2801 also merged "New metal_31001 GPU patchset for macOS 13.0+", which however is apparently not working. In consequence, the code detects any respective GPU but fails in patching. Unfortunately, one is not able to enable/disable each patch separately. The problem is your Nvidia Kepler... BTW.. From your signature I have seen that you have 5 different systems! What about those with an RX6600 or RX6800? Does the Wi-Fi/AppleHDA patch work with these systems?

it won't boot if I install rx 6600 but, 6600 and works good with sequoia and older.

I will try to 6800 now and let you know
