  1. Hello everyone! Last week I received my Broadcom BCM94352Z (model DW1560) from Newegg, installed it into my Dell Inspiron 5558, and I can't get it to work in macOS 10.13.5. I thought that I might have received a knockoff, so I tried it in Linux Mint, and it recognized it as a BCM4352 and worked perfectly! I've tried almost everything I could find online and nothing is working (see below). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Methods I Tried: FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi, BrcmPatchRAM2, BrcmFirmwareRepo I've also used AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmFirmwareData when injecting with Clover Laptop Specifications (Closest to MacBookAir 17,1, using SMBIOS for MacBook Pro 12,1) Intel Core i5-5250U Intel HD 6000 Graphics 8GB RAM 1 TB Hard Drive ALC3234 (apparently equivalent to ALC255 according to the net) Originally Intel Wireless, now BCM94352Z

    BROADCOM BCM4322

Hello, i need kext for broadcom 4322. Is it possible? There are device ids.. Thanks
  5. Hey guys, I have had a z97 pro wifi ac build for about a year now, and it works great, except I cannot get the onboard bluetooth to work. It shows up in my system profiler under USB as "BCM20702A0". When I use a kext named "asusBCM20702A0Bluetooth.kext", the usb gets recognized, but it doesnt pair with my devices (it sees them, but then it says pairing failed). I already deleted the bluetooth plist and restarted. I am on clover, and on yosemite 10.10.5. I have also tried other kexts (bcrmpatchram) but that one doesnt do anything. Does anyone have a z97 on yosemite 10.10.5 with working onboard bluetooth? thanks
  6. Hello, I have a big problem with my Hackintosh (iATKOS L2 updated to version 10.7.5). I have a laptop Acer TravelMate 7750G with Broadcom BCM4322 Wireless Network Adapter [vendor id: 4358, device id: 14e4] and I can't install that WiFi on my MAC. I tried all kexts from OSx86, and I read guide about rebrand my adapter, but I have laptop, and there is written that my laptop then can't recognize that adapter. So what can I do? :/ Please help me, I want hackintoooosh
  7. Hey guys, So after a lot of a digging and reinstalling, etc, I finally got my hackintosh to work on my AMD. There's just one thing left . . . my Ethernet controller. No matter what I do I can't seem to get it to work. I don't have any wireless cards or anything, so my Ethernet is the only thing I can use for internet. I've tried most of the suggestions i could find online. Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 3.0 mhz 8GB RAM 1 TB Hard Drive (Windows) 1 TB External Drive (Mac OS X 10.9.1) AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB On board Realtek sound card Broadcom BCM5788 On board ethernet controller Any help is appreciated, Thanks (sorry for spelling and grammar)

    Need Network Kexts

Hello, Im running Hackintosh 10.11 El Capitan on my laptop. I wanted to be able to use WiFi and Ethernet in my hackintosh, and here are my device ids (in Windows) of my network drivers : Wired : VEN_10EC&DEV_8168 (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller) Wireless : VEN_14E4&DEV_4365 (Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter) If anyone could help me search/make these network kexts, please do so, and post it here. Thank you very much for reading, and have a nice day!
  9. Hi folks, I have a 94360CS card in a PCIe adapter, with a cable plugged into my mobo's internal USB2 header. WiFi is working. With SSDT, the relevant USB2 port (HS12 in my case) has been patched to have UsbConnector = 0xFF (internal port). The card appears in System Information > USB and in IORegistryExplorer as "Bluetooth USB Host Controller", ID 0x05ac:8290, version 1.04. However, System Information > Bluetooth reports "no hardware found" and the Bluetooth prefpane does not appear in System Preferences; when I try to open the prefpane manually it tells me I can't, because I have no Bluetooth hardware. Grepping system.log for "bluetooth" returns: Feb 21 17:41:14 localhost kernel[0]: IOBluetoothUSBDFU::probe Feb 21 17:41:14 localhost kernel[0]: IOBluetoothUSBDFU::probe ProductID - 0x8290 FirmwareVersion - 0x0104 Feb 21 17:41:14 localhost kernel[0]: IOBluetoothUSBDFU::start Feb 21 17:41:14 localhost kernel[0]: [IOBluetoothFamily][start] -- completed Feb 21 17:41:16 admins-iMac-2 com.apple.audio.DriverHelper[654]: The plug-in named BluetoothAudioPlugIn.driver requires extending the sandbox for the IOKit user-client class RootDomainUserClient. 10. Since Apple's launched the new Macbook Air mid 2013, we finally got a wifi-ac option. People have confirmed that the WiFi part of the chipset is bcm4360, so I wonder anyone have tried any PCI-e cards out there using the same chipset? I checked the latest 10.8.4 from app store, and the driver isn't there yet, I also looked at 10.9 DP1, though there is a AirPortBrcm4360.kext, but it required many dependencies that don't exist in 10.8.4. I already have an ac card runs 4360 chipset (ven: 14e4 dev: 43a0 rev.3), and I want to experiment whether it would work on a hackintosh with a proper driver. So I am looking for new Macbook Air owner who would kindly help by sending out their IONetworkingFamily.kext and IO80211Family.kext Thanks a million in advance
  11. So after searching around on & off for 2 days with hardly any results, I thought it would be really convenient to have a list of laptop PCIe half mini cards that would be Lion-compatible. I currently have a thinkpad W520 and looking to swap the one in there (I think it's a realtek). From the looks of this: http://www.notebookreview.com/shared/picture.asp?f=58155 it doesn't look like it would take any other style of card. Any suggestions or successful attempts, please leave em here!

    Broadcom BCM43225

Hi, I've got Acer Aspire 7750G and I'm total newbie in Mac. I installed kexts for VGA, Touchpad, Keyboard, Laptop Battery, Audio, etc.. but I really can't install kext for my WiFi I have Broadcom BCM4322 and I tried all from OSX86. I have iATKOS L. How can I do it, please?
  14. Hi all, As a relative noob I came across this problem: my rig, an HP proliant, works fine under OSX as a testing environment and as a platform to upgrade my skills without ruining my iMac's OS. Except for 1 thing: the ethernet does not work. It has an onboard Broadcom NetXtreme BMC5721. During install, which I believe is a 32 bit environment in Lion, my network works OOB, no tricks, it just works. After installation under 10.7 it worked fine. After upgrading to 10.7.5 there was no network available in OSX (64 bit kernel and userspace), no PCI adapters present, the activity led on the adapter's port is off (orange connection led is on), there's just nothing ethernet-ish found by the system. Does anyone have a clue as to what happened to the kext (which one? AppleBCM5701?)? Could someone give me a hint as to what I can test of try to shed some light on this problem? Anyone else who uses this adapter? Can I supply more info - and what is needed - to help out? From this and other fora I know that it worked under 10.4 - 10.5 (at least) and from my own experience it works out-of-the-box during install of 10.7. Rebooting with arch=i386 results in a kernel panic, so - at the moment - I cannot test it at 32 bits under 10.7.5. Please be gentle, noob at play! ;-)
  15. Hello all. I have a BCM4322 wifi card in a mini-pcie to pcie adapter. It works in Linux, it even works in my Lion installer USB drive (iAtkos L1 was my weapon of choice), but for some reason it will not work after I have installed. I am using a generic mach_kernel, I have googled until my eyes have bled, but maybe there is something I missed. My card's PCI identifier is 14e4 (vendor code, broadcom) 432b (product code). It may or may not be on the list of recognized IDs for the 80211 kext plist however I tried adding it for giggles and as I suspected it still didn't load. I believe where the issue lies is that the IO80211Family.kext isn't loading due to some issue with my IONetworkingFamily.kext not being compatible with version 2.0 of something.. I assume having to do with the kernel, and because it fails either fully or partially IO80211Family.kext which depends on it also fails to load. Anyone have any advice for this? Anything else I could provide you all? Thanks in advance!
  16. Hi Everybody!! After messing around with many linux Distros, i've recently been attracted from the OS X, and wanted to get it working on my notebook. After many tries, following lot of different guides (non3 of them completely working to say the truth), I finally managed to install Lion 1.7.2 on my fresh Acer M3. The point of this Thread is help someone elsa with my hardware to accomplish this goal and, hopefully, get some help to make things works better (well, in some cases, just make them work would be enaugh :wink2:) see signature for complete hardware specs, anyway these are the main characteristics: Acer Mother board model MA50_HX (Bios: Insyde corp v1.08) Core i3-2377M Built-in HD3000 + nVidia Optimus discreete card nVidia GT640M Atheros AR9462 + NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe Standard PS\2 built-in Keyboard + Elan PS\2 Port Smart Pad I've to say that I'm quite good at linux, but completely new to OSX so I'm just starting to understand Kext, smbios and so on... What i've used: 8gb USB stick iAtkos L2 dmg Chimera BootLoader (without this, touchpad isn't recognized during installation) Now that's what I've done: Downloaded iAtkos L2 dmg Installed it on VMWare (just to have a functional OSX for partitioning, restoring images etc), followed that guide that works really stright forward http://ilpico.it/wordpress/?p=2642 (It's in Italian, anyway if someone needs it I can traduce it) From Lion VMWare (or another working Mac OS), mounted the 8gb usb stick Entered Disk Utility, select the USB Stick, in "Partition" tab, selected 2 partition from the dropdown menu (i've used GUID partition table) Selected the first partition and changed size to something like 300-500MB, named it "boot" Selected the second partition and named it "iatkos" Partitioned the usb stick with this partition scheme. mounted iAtkosL2.dmg image in disk utility clicked on the mounted iatkosL2 image, and the in the expanded image Selected restore tab, dragged the expanded iatkosL2 image from the left inside the "source" field, dragged the "iatkos" partition inside the destination field. Proceeded to restore During the restore process, downloaded latest chimera bootloader pkg (i've used Version 1.9.2) When Restore process was complete (about 15-25min), opened the chimera pkg and then doble clicked the installer Proceeded througt the installation and changed the install destination to "boot" partition on my USB Stick When installation finishes, unmount partitions and rebooted At start up, selected the usb stick from boot menu In chimera boot loader, booted the iatkos image with -v GraphicsEnabler=No (otherwise the system tries to use the nVidia Card and cannot boot) Using chimera, when install screen arrives, touch pad was working, so proceeded trought the installation, initialized the partition i've wanted to use (i've used the whole 20GB SSD), selected only PS/2 Kext for making also the kayboard working. Also selected both Atheros driver but didnt' make my wifi card work. After install, booted in arch linux to remove every AppleIntelHD* and AppleIntelSNB* kext, otherwise boot hangs, even with GraphicsEnabler=No rebooted installation processes only for fixing permission trought disk utility Powered off and booted from SSD with GraphicsEnabler=No, this time i was able to reach the mail screen!! entered sytem setting -> chimera bootloader (or maybe it's called chameleon inside the system setting menu', dont remember right now), changed resolution to 1366x768x32, checked the "GraphicsEnabler=No" as boot option That's all, right now didnt apply any extra kext or smbios or dsdt. Now, that's wht's not workig, hoping some one can give me some good tips! - NETWORK: nor Atheros AR9462 nor NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe get detected. Simply no network interface. (En0 not present). Any suggestion here?? I think for the atheros there isnt much we can do, but i think should be possibile to make the ethernet work! - GRAPHICS: Intel HD3000 is recognized as "built in graphics", with only 64MB of memory and no specific Kext used for it. How can I use the intel HD3000 kext and graphicsenabler=yes without having the system tryng to use the nVidia card??? Maybe romoving nVidia Kext and placing back intel HD and Intel SNB??? - INPUT: Keyboard it's ok, touch pad works with basic function (no gesture at all). anyway if I go in system settings -> touchpad, there's no device listed Anyone can suggest some fix for those problems? Should I fix my dsdt (if yes.... HOW??), should I use a smbios different from the stok one inside iAtkos (MacPro3,1)??? Hope this post will be usefull to anyone with this hardware configuration, and hope some good soul will help me fix these issues! Thank you in advance! PES
  17. Hi guys, I have attached my screenshot of my Wifi Whitelist here. I can only these wifi cards. I am currently using CLOVER efi as my boot loader. I was wondering that, lets say, I use one of the cards mentioned in the title of this thread as a replacement to my current intel centrino 1030n, can I get it to work using the fake-id within clover? I managed to even spoof my intel card into being recognised as a broadcom card but of course it won't work because there are no drivers for intel cards. However in case of broadcom tthere is support. Can I spoof a 4727 to work as a 4233 or other working bcm cards using clover? anyone with any insight on this, please help me out.
  18. Hi everybody I got the Mountain lion installed perfectly on my Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe. Clover worked like a magic when injecting graphics drivers, and I'm able to use full HD4000 acceleration. One of the only 2 problem: The BCM43228 wifi card is not working. And I dont have wired ethernet connection. So for now I'm using HOrNDis and USB tethering on my Note 2 to go internet. Is there any way I can get the wifi card working? There is a BCM43224.kext in IO80211Family.kext/Plugins. Will adding the pci vendor and hardware ID to info.plist help? Why must we rebrand some cards and how does it works? Why cant we just modify the kext instead of rebranding? Is there any way to get the bluetooth of that card working also? Thank you. Another problem is that when backpanel and frontpanel audio are all plugged in only back panel one is used. Maybe the front panel audio was never enabled. But this might be a bit off topic...

    Broadcom Bluetooth Injector

Hi guy! For who have problem to make work a Broadcom Bluetooth USB device can install this Injector and cross the finger! But first, check if your idProduct and idVendor are in the list below, if not feel free to post yours and I'll add it to both kext and list: idProduct idVendor 0x3404 0x13D3 (AzureWave AW-CE123H) 0x21EC 0x0A5C (Inateck BTA-BC4B6) Download: Broadcom BCM20702A0 Kext Injector
  20. Hi, guys. I’m facing a problem with a wifi/bluetooth combo card. I bought this PCI-e 1X adapter and a BCM943224PCIEBT2 (BCM43224) card, which is a common module on Macbook Air models from 2010 up to 2012. The items were bought separately, and when they both arrived I installed on a PCIe slot of my machine running OSX 10.11.5 (El Capitan) and connected the mandatory micro usb port of the module on a USB port on the back of my Gigabyte motherboard using the provided cable. The wifi is fully recognised and works effortlessly and though the bluetooth module is present on the Preferences Pane and on OSX menu bar, it simply doesn’t recognise my Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard (they both are recognised by my Macbook Pro). I tried to make it recognise something else (an AirTracks bluetooth headphone), but it was to no avail. Strangely, there is a unknown device which appears on the bluetooth panel which I have no idea what it is (it is not mine for sure, it could be from a neighbour or it simply could be an error, since it doesn’t recognise my Apple devices which are in front of it). This unknown device is shown with the Magic Mouse icon, but it doesn’t connect too and it is not shown on the Magic Mouse portion of the Pref Pane. I installed Sierra and Mavericks on a separate partition to verify if it was not simply an El Capitan issue, but it worked the same way on both: wifi fully working, bluetooth present on Preferences Panel, but nothing is recognised. I’m already providing the System Information screenshots showing the wifi, bluetooth and USB Hub info for you to check what is possibly wrong here. My setup is made of an Intel i7 4770 on a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H with 16Gb of ram (2x8 HyperX modules) and OSX installed on a SanDisk SDSSDA240G. I’m using Intel onboard graphics. Can you guys help solve this issue? Thanks a lot!
