I've now created a 200 GB partition on the internal SSD (500 GB), which also has 55 GB free for the installation of macOS 26.

The installation fails there too, with the same error as previously described.

See screenshot and installation log.

I see something in the last line of the log with a link to:

Urika!

I've found the culprit for all the headaches and stalling. I disabled all the USB related kexts and only used SSDT-UIAC.aml as @kidooe suggested in and I'm doing a clean install of macOS Taco! USB ports work just fine :D

I'm using MacPro7,1 SMBIOS with the updated OC and the kexts from @lorys89 post without any beta boot args.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for the tip mate. Will give this a try when i get home today. I just updated my iPad and damn i need my Hack to work on this as well. Its so fast on the iPad, going to do my iPhone next.

@eSaF and others,

So far what I have learned is that the MacPro7,1 SMBIOS doesn't allow the installation process move further when initializing the AHCI ports, it get's stuck at initializing port 7 on my rig, but when I change the SMBIOS to iMac20,2 it moves forward and gets stuck at KextLog: Loading FileSet KC(s).....

Any ideas to solve this AHCI panic??Just trying clean install ?

I've just about gotten everything working ok.  Just waiting for wireless networking and I need to change my webcam's USB port from USB3 to internal (i.e., 0x03 to 0xFF).  I want to thank everyone for helping me in one way or another.  I pulled some pretty bonehead moves along the way.  I couldn't download from Github because I forgot to sign in.  I couldn't boot to the installer because I used SMBIOS MacBookPro16,3 instead of MacBookPro16,1.  Those two moves wasted at least 4 hours.

Mapping the USB ports was not that daunting.  Once that was done, Bluetooth worked perfectly.  Now, I have to get used to all the changes. As I get older, I resist change even though I, like everyone else here, is an early adapter.  Cheers.

I am at a lost, I haven't a clue why my $hit won't load.

A clean installation stops at KexLog: Loading FileSet Kc (s) and just stays there.

I have tried so many different combinations to get this thing up and running.

Tried building fresh EFI Folders without OCLP patches and kexts, nothing works.

Can you guys tell me if your installs were without any OCLP inclusion in the EFI Folder.

I am now in the process of building yet another installer USB drive. I'm about to go crazy and throw this thing through the window into the neighbours garden. :wallbash:

My friend, we are in the same boat. I've tried everything that was mentioned but no luck.

I even tried to install it using a real Mac but that didn't help either. Installed fine but when I try to boot from my machine, nothing happens.

When I select the drive from OC boot menu, it just reload the OC boot menu, OC can see it but it doesn't even try to boot from it.

Another Skylake Acer Veriton X6650G Hackintosh with HD 530 working at TaHoe.

Only USB 2.0 ports available now.

Due to size limitation only config.plist is attached here for reference !

[Edit]

Thanks for Anto65's SSDT-XHC.efi which enabled my USB 3 ports now !

Yes just use the SSDT-UIAC and all the AHCI errors will resolve, disable USB related kexts and give it a try

I can tell you what my situation was - I have Skylake and Kaby Lake laptops. First I tried the skylake, but it didn't boot. Then I tried the Kaby Lake one and got further down the booting path, but I had to do some changes - disabled the USB mapping kexts because they were giving me panics, also no_compat_check bootarg, as well as new kexts for Lilu, Whatevergreen, VirtualSMC and OC itself. Change the SMBIOS to MacBookPro16,4 in my case.

With the last commit    ad12432  Clover also booted ( imac20,2 ) 😄

There is the possibility to add the patch as in OC
" Skip Board ID check "  ??

Otherwise I am forced to change Smbios on OC ( iMac19,1 now with Booter Patch ) , which I am fond of 😁

Even though the USBs are mapped on SSDT there is no trace in Hackintool (maybe it needs to be updated), but they are clearly visible in Ioreg 🤔

Spoiler

Edit :

Fixed with  " -no_compat_check "

I will continue to use iMac19.1 :frantics:
