Ended up having to install twice due to a file vault bug of some sort. Wouldn't let me login to either my main volume or the new Tahoe volume!
What I get for installing both on to the same APFS partition I suppose.

Anyways, seems to mostly work on my X1E1 besides wifi (expected) and touchpad.
Touchpad does work, it's just downgraded to PS/2 mode. Tracking things down a bit, looks like it's a race condition between VoodooPS2 and VoodooSMBus. Will figure that out Some Day ™️ or see if a beta fix resolves it.

Only thing upgraded between Ventura and Tahoe is Opencore. Updated VirtualSMC to latest release as well.

I can't get OC to compile. I keep getting an error when creating IA32 Debug.  The X64 builds compile ok but the script doesn't build the binaries until all of the versions are ready to be compiled into the binaries.  If someone can compile this version of OC, can you tell me what you did to get it done?

Edited by mnfesq

I have not been able to get either of my two computers to go beyond the first icon created, but I have discovered that the Radeon kexts were stopping the system. Since I have two systems mounted, I have added the MaxKernel only up to Sequoia, until the system can guarantee OCPL. Let's see if my colleague can tell me how he managed to install the system.

Try use this program from  GitHub repo by @Hnanoto

https://github.com/hnanoto/Hackintosh-and-beyond_script/releases

Choose Compile all number 30) Compilar Todos and left run, need Xcode and only Python.

The Script works with python in macOs don't worry about "Windows" name.

When You CAN'T Run An App Because Of GateKeeper, Don't Fret.

There Is A Neat Little Trick To Get It To Run WITHOUT TOUCHING

The Builtin Security And Compromising Your System

Ok, Open Up Terminal

Say TheOffending App Is Named FredFart.app

Click On FredFart.app

Right Click And Go To Show Package Contents

Open Up The MacOS Folder,

Click On FredFart,

There MAY BE More Than 1 File In It,

Just Make Sure To Click On The Right One e.g FredFart

Drag FredFart To The Terminal And Press Enter/Return

And Watch The Magic Happen

The FredFart.app SHOULD Run,

AND DON'T CLOSE THE TERMINAL WINDOW

Hope This Will Help You Guys IF You Need It

I can't help with building OC itself (I was able to compile in WSL after installing llvm, clang, and lld). You can grab a compiled version from the GitHub actions though, which build OC directly from source and upload the results. https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/actions/runs/15548251082 is for the commit with the fix. The actions tab contains the results from every commit but does require a GitHub account to download.

Hi all,

I tried installing by creating a USB drive, but without success.

After a few lines on the screen, rebooting, and so on, I decided not to worry. At 77 years old with poor eyesight.

I'll come back for see from time to time.

Good luck to you all.

Regards

And it's done, macOS Tahoe 26.0 running on Dell Latitude 7490 with Core i5 8350U.
waiting for OCLP to get updated for Broadcom WiFi.

As always, Thanks all the great people who are working on opencore ❤️
