Touchpad does work, it's just downgraded to PS/2 mode. Tracking things down a bit, looks like it's a race condition between VoodooPS2 and VoodooSMBus. Will figure that out Some Day ™️ or see if a beta fix resolves it.

Im getting KP with this

I remember it did the same with the 15.5 beta

Hi all,

I tried installing by creating a USB drive, but without success.

After a few lines on the screen, rebooting, and so on, I decided not to worry. At 77 years old with poor eyesight.

I'll come back for see from time to time.

Good luck to you all.

Regards

Edit200,000: Just A Little TIP And Completely OFF TOPIC

When You CAN'T Run An App Because Of GateKeeper, Don't Fret.

There Is A Neat Little Trick To Get It To Run WITHOUT TOUCHING

The Builtin Security And Compromising Your System

Ok, Open Up Terminal

Say TheOffending App Is Named FredFart.app

Click On FredFart.app

Right Click And Go To Show Package Contents

Open Up The MacOS Folder,

Click On FredFart,

There MAY BE More Than 1 File In It,

Just Make Sure To Click On The Right One e.g FredFart

Drag FredFart To The Terminal And Press Enter/Return

And Watch The Magic Happen

The FredFart.app SHOULD Run,

AND DON'T CLOSE THE TERMINAL WINDOW

Hope This Will Help You Guys IF You Need It

Thanks bro!! 🙏

Can You Post Your EFI Folder Please

@matxpa these images you posted are they from a laptop or desktop?

If Desktop could you share your EFI Folder after removing your personal data?

I am constantly getting kernel panics doing a clean install.

I would like to make a comparison between your EFI Folder and mine. Cheers.

Hey guys!

Has anyone tested this on a desktop yet? Maybe something with similar video configuration as mine? I managed to boot the installer....but it's not reaching the UI. As far as I can tell, it's not an issue of SMBIOS (using MacPro7,1), and MacOS itself is booting. But it reboots at some point, and I can't get a chance to see what exactly is the problem. I think the issue might be the video part or something. I already added -lilubetaall to boot args and updated Lilu and Whatevergreen. Not sure what could be the issue here.

Anyway, I'm really glad some of you guys managed to install it successfully! I'm still waiting for OCLP WIFI patch to have everything working, but until then...I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't boot to installer...yet.

In both computers, both New: Coffe lake smbios 19.1 and Old: hasweel smbios imacpro1.1, both with OpenCore.efi providing yes, it has allowed me to finish the installation, but in both with Radeon graphics, look at my computers, these do not have graphics, can you provide the new compiled kexts?
