In both computers, both New: Coffe lake smbios 19.1 and Old: hasweel smbios imacpro1.1, both with OpenCore.efi providing yes, it has allowed me to finish the installation, but in both with Radeon graphics, look at my computers, these do not have graphics, can you provide the new compiled kexts?

You just replaced the opencore.efi only..?

Thanks. It seems to be outdated (no update since 2021 version from scriptinosx repo). 🥲

@matxpa where do you get your "Download Full Installer" app, please.

Thanks for hints and help from this website.

After trial and errors for about one hour my Z490-H Hackintosh can boot macOS Tahoe now !

Key points:

1. OC 1.0.5

2. SMBIOS: MacPro7,1 or iMac20,1

3. SecureBootModel: Disabled

4. Use IGPU only (boot-args= -wegnoegpu)

[Edit]

Without -wegnoegpu AMD RX-560 dGPU can be displayed too !

Download your EFI here? I want to compare it. Thank you.

Bro you and I are whistling in the wind.

I have asked that request but all I can see are glorified success samples.

It is what it is I suppose, lets just hope the success stories continues

considering this is the last chance to gloat.

i already shared my EFI with latest opencore commit if you go back 1 page :)

  • Thanks 2

I am beginning to suspect my problem stems from trying to do a fresh install oppose to what the majority of successful installs here are based upon I guess Upgrades.

I am wondering if any of the successful installs were done via a fresh installation. I am now in the process of installing Sequoia on a test drive and see if an upgrade is any better.

Such a PITA having to go that route for something that is only going to give me joy for one whole year.

Is it really worth all this hassle at the end of the day?
