Rx400/500 problem solved. Sound problem solved. What's next? I feel like we work for Apple. Am I right?😂🤣

We are working against Apple's interests. We help run what Apple abandons, forcing you to buy new computers.

Never NootRx and WeG together. Something is wrong. Do you use them individually for different OS?

Yeah, im using them separately, depends on what I need it for. For fresh install, im using NootRX and post install I use WeG.

Haven't tried to use them both at the same time. I might try, just to see it they collide in any way.

Sorry but I don't agree.

I am sure your Hack is not the only by-product you own of Apple.

Whether you owned an Apple item before or after you built a Hack is irrelevant.

As the saying goes, you love the OS but hates the restrictions and the price possibly.

I like many others here spent/spends quite a hefty sum over the years.

In my household for example, iPhones, Apple Watch, iPad, quite a few Movies and Software bought from the App Store.

So in conclusion Apple has done all right by us in a big way.

Yes I agree they are forcing us to buy a Mac, a machine that is limited in so many ways compared to a Hackintosh.

We will have to see how Tahoe holds up on official release as Sequoia leaves a lot to be desired.

Half baked and not really ready in my opinion.

I hate to say it but I end up turning off all the new "features" in new OSs usually. Most of the tine it is just fluff (does anyone really use Stage Manager?)

I  couldn't stand the silence any more.

I was annoyed having to switch in between Mac versions to listen to music and hear speech in near normal voice.

I had to take a crash course in mandarin and install OCLP-Mod.pkg.

Hoping there is no nasties lurking in the background.

Turned out pretty well, have to admit, just hoping for a WIFI fix to appear.

Cheers.

Same here. I gave it a try yesterday, but it didn't work. Couldn't install KDK, and doing the same thing today, I now understand why. It didn't download it all the way through. So trying to install that was bound to fail from the start. But today it went fine, installation went through with no issues, and yeah, I do have analog sound again.

As for WiFi, well, yes, it doesn't work (yet) but I personally don't really need it. I can use Ethernet just fine, since this is a Desktop PC.

However, I did notice my BT is also not detecting any nearby devices...? Could be just my case though. With Sequoia, BT was working fine, so I only had to patch WiFi.

Anyway, it's still a beta, and not even the public one yet. So things can still change. Apparently they do change quite a lot, from one release to the other.

Edit: BT is working now. Not sure exactly what changed, but...good thing it works, I guess. :))

I downloaded and installed the  Kdk  before running OCLP-MOD, once opened it found the table already ready , it didn't have to download and install it... it recognized it and merged it and went ahead without a hitch

Yeah, didn't cross my mind to do that yesterday. :)) I just thought it might have been an issue with the app itself. Now I know it wasn't the case. But good idea indeed. :) Thanks for the tip, and the link!

对不起,但我认为从现在开始你会被问题轰炸,那么我现在可以停止关注你的工作流程吗? 😅

Well,I only push commit after testing. And OCLP-Mod only check updates when new releases are available ( not every commit).

@laobamac_yyds

Welcome to the community and thanks for your OCLP-Mod, I suggest to create a dedicated topic for your OCLP-Mod to keep this topic tidy.

With this pace this topic will become more crowded with comments related to OCLP-Mod rather than macOS Tahoe.

Thanks

i see,thx

WEG is turned off in config. I tend not to delete kexts or amls from an EFI until I'm happy with the replacement. I'm using nootRX

I only manage the correct buttons to press from memory of the English version OCLP.

Exactly. Most of us have done it dozens of times. It was intuitive to me and I don't know squat about the Chinese alphabet.

WEG está desativado na configuração. Eu costumo não excluir kexts ou amls de um EFI até que eu esteja feliz com a substituição. Estou usando o nootRX

Hi @Surfinchina I've been doing the installation without errors in just half an hour, with all the kexts and patches, and there's been no stuttering at all with NootRX.kext. But WEG is still more powerful, and for booting into Tahoe beta 2, it’s even stronger. However, it freezes during installation, so I’m using the new kext. It seems promising.
