Another configuration with Beta 2.

  1. Qiyida X99 H9S C612
  2. Intel Xeon E5 2667 V4
  3. 4x 16Gb DDR4 ECC
  4. AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Sapphire
  5. Realtek ALC897
  6. NVME Kingson NV2 500Gb

Audio working with AppleALC/AppleHDA 🚀

USBs all OK, converted in less than 30 seconds with the new USBMap that came out a few days ago.

The only thing that doesn't work is the WiFi, but that's nothing new, the rest is OK!

I use the same EFI for Sequoia and Tahoe, itlwm.kext's working with Sequoia, but it doesn't work with Tahoe.

Thanks

Here works fine on both. Remove device plist properties. I think is better not declare it.

I finally managed clean install, I had to disable WhateverGreen.kext and replace it with NootRX.kext to boot with pendrive. All peripherals work except obviously wifi, the system is very stable and fast, in the next few days I will try to install other software to better test it. Thanks @Max.1974 for your EFI.

Thanks again I’m learning with you. Just use NootRX oh my gosh 😆😆👏🏻👏🏻🤩🤩

What would be the remove/delete command if Apple makes AppleHDA available again in the next releases.

Here it is:-

Unload, then delete kext

In Terminal,

Disable SIP

  1. Unload Extension

sudo kextunload /Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext

  1. Delete Extension

sudo mount -rw / # mount root as RW

sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext

sudo mount -uw Library/Extensions/ # unmount root as RW

Rebuild kext cache

Enable SIP

Reboot

Hope this helps.

@MaLd0n In your shared EFI folder, do you get the message that instead of trying to create all those UsbMap.kext or UsbPort.kext, you just need to use UsbInjectAll.kext? Or is all the magic in your aml file?

Just the basic config for a good hackintosh with usbinjectall or usbmap. Im using usbinjectall only for installations, after that old and good remap its a good idea.

But after the xhci limit patch is updated, laziness takes over me.

For those who want, the recoveries of the Tahoe Beta 1 and 2

It is ideal for those who want to create a new EFI, from Windows or Linux, and want to install macOS directly from Apple's servers.

Thanks for this method which installed Tahoe beta 2 smoothly in my Z370 hackintosh.

VoodooHDA fixed its audio successfully too !

Could you please elaborate on how you got audio working again with AppleALC/AppleHDA in DB2?  Did you have to disable SIP?  Did you use the AppleHDA.kext from DB1?  Was it installed in /L/E or injected with OC or root patched in /S/L/E?

The fix from https://github.com/laobamac/OCLP-Mod/actions/runs/15883186157 has resolved the issue and made AppleHDA work again. As a result, AppleALC can regain its functionality. Thanks to the developer of OCLP-Mod, @laobamac.

After repeated trial and errors at last my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh can boot TaHoe beta 2 now, but it's quite unstable !

Audio output from HDMI of RX580 is working, however Finder and Firefox are unstable for daily use !

I found after edit config.plist as the following its stability is moderately improved !

No Finder or Firefox issues at all and VoodooHDA working perfectly too !

On two computers, look below, it does not work. On both, I have the Broadcom BCM4360 kexts active or rather present with the Wi-Fi icon in gray, but the AppleHDA mod system is installed but does not allow or is not seen because it is in Chinese. Where to apply the HDA patch
