So trust me when I say that I know enough to be dangerous but I did the whole OCLP Audio enabling on my build and as I was reading through the translated text I noticed that it said that it "uncovered" AppleHDA.kext. Well, I let it reboot and my sound works so I looked and I have the AppleHDA.kext back. Not sure if anyone wants to mess around with seeing if this version of the kext can just be added without going the OCLP route but I don't currently have time for a reinstall to test my theory. Any takers?

Try to catch and capture the Chinese dialogue than while it's performing the manipulation! A bunch of Chinese letters appearing on the screen for a few seconds... 😂 Curious how to get rid of it, once it might not be necessary anymore.. Although there is an Uninstaller package in addition.

For the first time ever since I have been hackintoshing, I am enjoying hi-res lossless apple music and thanks to Teaho for messing with the sound kexts 🤪. This is what I call new discoveries in the last days of Hackintosh and surely am going to miss all this fun in the near future. I just so love my hybrid Hackintosh laptop 😜

Would you please help me on how to use booter/patch in Opencore , is there such an option?

config.plist

The patch is available in the Booter / Patch tab on the attached config.plist. I am using it for imac Pro 1.1.

VoodooHDA works on my Fujutsu laptop, but on my Dell laptop it doesn't.

Do you guys know why this could be? I disabled AppleALC, have VoodooHDA inside OC/Kexts, as well as L/E. Have prefPane installed.

Does VoodooHDA work on every machine? Do I need to patch something?

Any ideas?

Can someone please check my EFI? It's a maldon one (thanks for the work!!!) Tahoe installed on the Z690, ethernet and sound ok, no bluetooth or wifi yet - wifi because no OCLP, bluetooth dunno yet lol. Bios is just defaults with v-td enabled, although I tried it both ways.

The issue is that it freezes. First time was good for a few hours and shutdown normally. After that it lasts in Tahoe (beta 2) for a second to a few minutes before it hangs.

Could be software because I installed it from a Sequoia copy and it's loaded with my stuff. I've also tried weg (using nootrx atm), turned off usbinject all - I use the tahoe usbinjectall. Done nvram resets and the usual stuff. All the kexts and opencore up to date.

I'm randomly playing with quirks now because I'm old and useless, but stubborn - would appreciate some help!

Thanks for the work guys 😊

You should remove all Weg boot args since you don't Weg. Also, remove "dk.e1000=0" and leave "e1000=0". You don't need both. And try with less kexts enabled as possible. Especially those related to BT. Later you can enable one by one and see which one is the culprit. But the most important thing for you is to map you USB Ports and use created kext instead of USBInjectAll and XHCI kexts.

Thanks! aml or kext with hackintool? Or does it not matter...

Update of Sequoia 15.5 for Tahoe beta 2, X99 P4, Xeon E5 2680, RX550 (Lexa Fake id), update was successful, but when the Hdmi finished, black screen, and DP started working as primary video!

to enable the codecs I used boot args -radcodec.

The day has come, the sun is shining. Few clouds but not a big deal.

Finally, after 172 failed attempts, trying to create one EFI that can boot to Sequoia, where I even tried to add my grandma apple pie receipt to config., it didn't work. I let my dog to jump over the keyboard, that didn't work either.

I tried everything, it didn't work. Finally today, I can boot to both OS and I can fresh install Ta-Whoe.

What's working? - Everything.

I even tried to use itlwm for WiFi and it worked, but I removed it from this one. The EFI I uploaded is minimalistic for my system to be able to boot/install the OS.

This is NootRX.kext version because I was not able to create universal EFI using WEG. I don't know why. With NootRX.kext everything is working.

The Issue: Since I have no idea what NootRX.kext is doing, I don't know how to fix it.

When I try to awake it from sleep, it awakes but I get black screen. I have to do hard reboot.

I guess GPU stays in powerless mode.

Anyone with any ideas? Does NootRx works with DeviceProperties entries? I'm clueless.

Here is my EFI. If it helps one person, I'm happy.

Thanks maly! AppleIGC was needed for ethernet but I turned the rest off and so far so good. As a bonus I now have bluetooth. I'll get to work mapping USB ports now.
