Any Clue with this???? Z390 Aorus Ultra + intel core i7 9700K + RX Vega 64 + PCI Thunderbolt Titan Ridge (for 5K monitor) + 1x NVME Adata.
OpenCore (latest commit) + AppleSupportPkg (latest commit)

Try to set :
Booter => Quirks => ForceExitBootServices = YES + UEFI => Quirks => ExitBootServicesDelay = 0 (Still Same)
Booter => Quirks => ForceExitBootServices = NO + UEFI => Quirks => ExitBootServicesDelay = 3 (Still Same)
Booter => Quirks => ForceExitBootServices = YES + UEFI => Quirks => ExitBootServicesDelay = 3 (Still Same)


Just for information, 
EC has been applied to DSDT.aml (use this DSDT.aml with clover, boot fine)
No STAS method in RTC, so i don't use STAS=One for DSDT.aml.

I have downloaded the Full Setup, 5.21 GB of "041-91741 - 10.13.6 macOS High Sierra" using the OpenCore gibMacOS.bat.

But when i try creating the Bootable USB using MakeInstall.bat, It says "Please paste the recovery update pkg path to extract:"

 

How can i create the Full Install using MakeInstall.bat, as it starts using the Internet Connection during the install.

Therefore if you can get your audio to work with BootChimeCfg and cannot with OpenCore it is because you have borked configuration somewhere. Reading is hard, but you have a pdf with a decent amount of details.

 

3. Different audio cards support different audio formats, and unsupported message in the log means that either the port you tried to output to cannot play audio at all or you have your boot chime in an incompatible format. In the latter case you can always consult to the specification of your audio codec and e.g. reencode the chime wav into some other format e.g. 48 KHz, mono, etc.

 

I enabled AudioPicker it works well.

I don't really need it as my eye sight is fine (at the moment).

 

I turned it off, then enabled PlayChime and rebooted.

The chime plays and just before ending, it starts again for a fraction of a second, and then starts again 3rd time and stops abruptly and macOS boots normally. Listen to the attached recording.

gibMacOS.bat is not officially from OpenCore team, AFAIK. Ask to the creator of gibMacOS.bat

Yes, I know that. But when you set up Scan Policy 0 its shows all disks and Built-in Disk (Recovery and CleanNVRAM) auto-hide by OpenCore if HideAuxilary set YES. But I am not seeing Time Machine on config.plist or I must add? If I must add how?

Do you try this: for example, put Auxiliary too TRUE.

Hi guys, newbie here!

 

I got a pretty stable but pretty messy 0.5.5 EFI folder which I'm currently using, not quite like the official guide but hey! it works!

 

Today I decided to update to 0.5.6 rebuilding my EFI from scratch and to strictly do it following official guidelines. Previously I updated without touching config.plist but this cause a bunch of error and that's why I decided to rebuild efi folder from scratch.

 

Unfortunately, the brand new EFI for 0.5.6 won't work, it boots straight into win10 and it isn't a matter of show picker or auto timings. It's sad but it was the best I can do. The folder seems good to me and the sanitize checker tool, so I really dunno what happens.

 

I attached both EFIs, is there someone here so kind to give them a shot? I suppose that's the reason this forum exist for. The aim is to have a clean 0.5.6 folder and, in the process, learning from you to be able to go ahead with my legs and possibly to help here someone else too.

config.plist and operncore.efi must be inside OC folder. And choose your start-up disk from System Preferences or make Scan policy 0 and choose your default disk from the boot picker.

Yeh.. stupid error! I solved both, now the boot starts but freezes like in attached pics, I even removed all the SSDTs a part form PLUG and EC-USBX (adjusting config.plist accordingly). stuck again...

Anyone know how to get Secure Boot with OC 0.5.6 ? I tried creating vault with sign.command, enabled secured boot but it boot in Windows without OC.

 

Adjusted vault to Secure option but it says config.plist is corrupted.

 

Signed Opencore and .efi drivers with my own keys, but ApfsDriverLoader.efi says its corrupted.

Restored original ApfsDriverLoader.efi but its says Security Violation.

@md500, we are still working on this, sorry. Basically you need to sign BOOTx64.efi, OpenCore.efi, and currently all the Drivers. This will let you boot UEFI Secure Boot compatible operating systems boot (e.g. Windows). In future you will not have to sign Drivers, as we will verify them inside OC, and you will also be able to boot macOS, as we will add macOS Secure Boot support (the one you can find on T2 machines).

 

This is unfortunately a slow journey, as we not only have to recover Apple's protocol, but also reimplement several parts of UEFI Secure Boot from EDK II. However, we expect this to be done this year. Stay tuned.

The second picture looks like SSDT-EC-USBX.aml error. The suggestion follows the Skylake X guide do not add your all SSDT's first just use the minimal setting on the guide.
