Kinda off topic.

Will this card work with macOS Big Sur OOB? No extra kexts?

Or should I stick with a BCM94352Z based card?

A bit off - topic. It should work BUT please mind that these cards have weird connectors, the motherboard's antenna cables will not "click" perfectly. I have a very bad recent experience where I finally resorted to an Apple Card with an adapter.

The 1820A I have in my desktop (onboard wifi) works great but the 1820A in my laptop Bluetooth is very flaky and the firmware won’t update. And my laptop doesn’t have room for any adapters.

You can give it a go, then. They do provide a plastic piece that is supposed to hold the connectors in place and not disconnect. The card does not need any kexts.

The card in the picture doesn’t need any extra kexts or both?

Neither the card in the picture or an Apple Native needs any kexts.

Yes - Youtube still contains bug even on real Macs as reported.

Haha, yes I read that. I love YouTube support about this: "Restart your computer", "Restart your router", "Use Chrome".

Of course.

Here is normal youtube:

But I read on some sites in the comments section, people complaining that youtube doesn't work on their real mac's
One said that disabling the "VP9 decorder" in: Safari> preferences> advanced> show developer menu in the menu bar. Enable it
Then click on it and go to "Experimental resources" find "VP9 Decorder" and disable

Yep, that's worked for me too.

See what results you get playing 4k videos.

Unfortunately, same. Not a big deal I'm sure they'll fix this soon.

My PC is now updating to Beta 10, I'll see if it's working on RX 5700 or not. It's an encode/decode problem.

Hello everyone
I have installed beta 10 on Acer E1 notebook in signing successfully.
The procedure was a little complicated but in the end I succeeded.
The procedure adopted differs from that made previously with the Asus Z87 plus pc a little different, I proceeded as follows:

1-Update from 9 to 10 with OpenCore 6.3 with all updated kexts.
2- all completion of the installation I had to always use OC6.3 because the clover could not start the installation after the first reboot, as happened with the previous guide with Asus Z87 plus.
3- Boot with OC 6.3 and Clover 5123/24/25 ..
I am using the Clover 5125 on the notebook
I had to use OC6.3 on my notebook because OC 6.2 was unable to install the update and restarted all the time.
The WiFi network works.
