So far, it seems most of the issues revolve around Skylake chips - I haven't seen one successful update on 6xxx CPUs so far, only on kaby lake + later generations. I haven't tried spoofing a Broadwell CPUID yet - I fear it would break my perfectly working power management on my laptop. FULL SUCCESS !!! I was able to continue with the 2nd phase of 10.15.4 Beta6 and successfully finish it. Why did Apple put it this way? why does the processor now have to run as Broadwell even though it is a Kabylake .. who knows details about that?
