Cool :D  thx

hope to have some chance to install mojave :)

Hi,

Find attached new PRE-INSTALL Aorus Pro Z390 EFI - Intel UHD630.zip  Clover v4920 can confirm this is fully working with macOS Mojave 10.14.5.

Remember during install, on each reboot, you have to press F12 and boot from installer and continue...such as... Boot macOS Install from Macintosh etc.

Same error but I capture the log and say:

“disk25s1 is not convertible to APFS: you can’t install on this volume because can’t be trasformed in Apple File System (APFS) “

dunno if it refer to the ssd that i erase and format correctly in APFS as you suggested

or it refer to the usb??!

I can do a video of the log if you like or it’s ok these screenshot?

Try, physically remove all drives (m2 970 samsung, 2tb crucial ) from motherboard, have just the Samsung 860 EVO connected. So only have the Samsung 860 EVO connected to Motherboard.

and remove 16GB of memory.

Also:

Ensure Above 4G Decoding is set to disabled in the BIOS

And retry installation.

- what about the other error message like "”No native mechanism to verify InstallESD.dmg” and so on?

thanks a lot for your time and patience ^_^

In  past, I've had similar problem at same state of install and it was because Above 4G Decoding was enabled. Also on another occasion, same stage during installation was because I tried to install onto an old WD black SATA drive, when drive was replaced the install was good.

But first, try removing parts that I mentioned. Then if problem persists, would try and use another USB flash drive for Mojave Installer. :)

Past experience, having more than 16gb of ram or ram seated in certain memory slots can cause problem.. idkw. That's why I have indicated in guide, the slots that I have memory seated in. Do you have another SSD to test install with.

Today I successfully used updated PRE & POST INSTALL Aorus Pro Z390 EFI - Intel UHD630 for installing macOS Mojave 10.14.5 without problem.

I'm puzzled :wacko:why install is not going smoothly for you.:)

From logs I can see:

MountedVolumesCount = 24

disk25s1 ?

That seems a lot of volumes, and likely cause of installation problem.

Definitely want to remove extra drives and have only one drive that you intend to use for installing macOS Mojave onto.

- removed 16gb of ram

- removed all ssd

- left only one on sata 0

nothing... same error with MountedVolumesCount = 21

I think the problem is the USB or what I do while creating it

I'll create a new USB and try again with all ssd and ram and see... :(

wondering how can count 24 or 21 volumes....thats really strange!

In disk util before formatting the only ssd mounted I  have the ssd, the usb and the installation ESD of OS.

@glasgood Just updated to the latest EFI you uploaded, still no sleep. When I press the sleep button in the Apple menu, the screen goes off but the fans and the leds of the motherboard stay on.

Maybe It has to do with my BIOS version? I updated to F9 because the trouble I had with the XPG SSD.

Do you have the following set in BIOS:

MIT  Smart Fan 5 Settings  CPU Fan Control mode → PWM
