So, there won't be any Web Drivers for 10.14.0

There was web drivers for 10.13.0 and 10.12.0

You have to go back to Mavericks to find a .0 version with no Web Drivers.

That's probably because of the change for Metal compatible graphic cards.

@GotierI have a Core2Duo E8400 as well and had to do the same thing with that file, but that was easy to do after booting another MacOS on another drive.

Having Mojave 10.14 installed with macOS Mojave Patcher Tool on my MACBook Pro 8,1.

no Auto Apple update for the moment and mac OSX 10.14.1 update.pkg doesn't accept install

( seems normal probably system checks ....)

Have to wait for update of the patcher tool

update:

"Patch Updater" updated to v.1.10

now Auto Apple updated to 10.14.1

No problems ! :)

It doesn't appear to be correct.

Can you try the following and let us know if it works?

Find: 83fb0f0f 838f0400 00
Replace: 83fb0f90 90909090 90
Name: com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI
MatchOS: 10.14.x

In future if you want to check if the patch works go to /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBHostFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBXHCI.kext/Contents/MacOS and open AppleUSBXHCI in a hex editor like HexFiend. Do a hex search for the byte sequence. If it's not found then the patch will not work.

Does anyone know of a way to download the full 10.14.1 installer from the new "crippled" App Store short of simply plugging in my High Sierra backup and going to the real App Store?

Trying to download the full installer on Mojave just directs me to an update. I need a clean install to try to sort out some issues with Parallels (ironic I know, running on a PC )

Edit: Ignore this post, I eventually got the option to download the installer as SavageAUS writes below instead of the update and or the 20mb installer nub. Don't know why it wasn't an option on the first few tries, but it eventually coughed up the correct download.

I just searched for "83FB0F0F 83030500 00" in the binary removing a byte at a time until it was found. Then I just replaced the changed bytes with the new ones.

RehabMan just posted that the new patch doesn't work. He thinks there must be another check against the 15 port limit.

That check has been there all along
