Klaasdj: I had the same with BiTTorrent 4.4.1...use another client and it will work. (I used azureus on xp later and that worked)

Thank you very much BiTRiP,

I used "Transmission" in stead of "Bittorrent" and was able to download the update now ;)

Still have to install it yet, but unfortunately I just went to my work, so it will have to wait :) .

Thanks again,

Klaasdj

In theory couldn't you install the 10.4.7 combo updater (from apple's site) and without rebooting follow the instructions and install the patched JaS update over it ?

you might have to manually backup the kernel and restore it after the install before the reboot.

it might work. I think i'll give it a try. I'll let you know in a few.

The 10.4.7 update for amd is ready, the scum company called apple should be really ashamed to resort to such retarded means and worse anyone supporting such scum company selling rebranded common x86 hardware and the puppeteer intel should be ashamed more.

i'll post it on the demons sunday

I hope that semjza will post the decrypted exes missing to have a full update soon

Boo hoo! Apple shouldn't have removed drivers for stuff they don't sell. Apple's not supposed to be able to project their software and I'm supposed to be able to just take it cause I'm selfish God of the Int3rW3b. Somehow this is Intel's fault too for selling processors.

So stop using "scum company's" products you tard! Don't like it? Deal with it. It's not going to get any better.

By the way, I support Apple. I think removing unused code and drivers is a great thing since, as a real Mac user, it makes my experience more trouble-free. I paid for mine, I'm the one getting the support.

This is amusing a real mac user calling me a retard lmao hahahahahaha ....

hahahaha no way i'll do my best to damage your scummware company , that's what i did releasing the 10.4.4/5 and the goatsecx 10.4.6 dvd and now that i learnt studying maxxuss work how to crack this retarded cpuid thing i'll release the 10.4.7 update for amd people.

About it's not going to get any better , i'm sure your beloved {censored} company will be forced out of the hardware business soon , it's only a matter of time

looser , anyway removing unused code and drivers is one thing , adding over 400 cpuid checks is another thing and it's uber lame and is classified as scummware. Your cpu is wasting cycles just to check that the os is running on genuine craptel so according to what you said you shouldn't be happy too

ps you should change your nick to john the retard , it suits you better

So why are you using their software? Besides, I've heard this for the past 15 years... hasn't happened yet.

EDIT: Oh, hardware business. You think that since Microsoft ships a crappy OS that supports every device under the planet that Apple should ship a bloated crappy OS as well. Luckily Apple and people like myself disagree. And as long as we're buying, Apple isn't going anywhere.

I'm not smart enough, remember?

I'm all for hacking around a system, hell, I've done it myself. But to blame a company for controlling the distribution of it's own product is self-centered and stupid. Did you honestly think Apple was going to open up the code and let you make a mess of it? Did you really think they were going to add support that makes stealing it easier?

Hack away. By the time 10.5 comes around you'll be yesterdays fad. I'll have installed it in less than an hour.

Thank you very much Myzar !

;)

PS. I have a question for you... what do you mean for "decrypted exes missing" ?

This 10.4.7 update is not complete ?

Bye

yes it's not complete we are missing finder, dock rosetta and something else i don't recall, those files are encrypted and someone needs to dump them from a real mac, do you remember maxxuss decrypted files or semjza 10.4.6 decrypted files? We need the same stuff for 10.4.7

Well it's not a big problem for me , i'll use something else , it's not that i love or i die for osx , i was just curios about it and the hacking factor was the biggest one. I'll not miss much

now that was all a little uncalled for!!

lol

but i agree with myzar that apple charge too much of a premium for a genuine mac. BUT i plan to buy one when i can afford it, just cuase there will be less messing around and i cant find an all in one pc as atractive/convinient as an imac.

John, u seem to criticise myzar for being a "selfish God of the Int3rW3b". But really no part of his statement was selfish, he was commenting on an contribution that he has made to help this comunity that u seem to have enough interest in to have 238 posts.

And infact you would appear to be classifing yourself above users with hacked osx, becuase you have a real mac...

I meant self-centered. The idea that Apple should be helping him out or something. It's an impractical perspective.

And I'm not trying to sound superior, so sorry if I came off that way, but the fact is a real Mac machine is far better at OS X than a machine that can't run it without days of hacking involved. Just my opinion, but that's the reason for all this complaining, isn't it? That mine just works and the hacked ones don't?

This is an interesting site, and not all of it's members are whining about lack of support from a company that owes them no support whatsoever. The fact that 10.4.7 is out affects me too, and I'm happy to discuss it with other people.

i do believe this whole community started out of the need to 'do something about it'.. and it's an adventurous spirit that binds osx86 users.. coming in here and praising a company that is obviously interested in it's income [hell just look at what a mac costs, and how built up they are about making it work on their 'oh my god it's got an apple on it - special hardware'] rather than it's customer's full satisfaction is just retarded..

given the ammount of work, dedication, time etc. Myzar gave to this community, i do believe a tad more respect is called for..

that's just my 2 bits in
