What you mean my friend ? you tried 10.8.2 with new nVidia drivers and CL patching ?
I think this is much better for you with nVidia 550Ti, and not 10.7.4

I'm talking about Video Decoding Acceleration (VDA) that enables your GPU to decode video instead of the CPU (on sites like youtube and software like movist). you can check if it works by running this checker https://dl.dropbox.c...oderChecker.zip

It should say "acceleration fully supported"

PS: yes i did try the new nvidia drivers but still no luck, the only version that fully works is 10.7.4. (this thing is different from openCL and does not need the openCL patch to work)

Hardware acceleration is working on my hack on 10.8.2. I have the Intel HD3000 turned on just for AirPlay (though my 5770 is the primary on boot) so it seems to pick that one for VDA.

AVF info: Successfully connected to the Intel plugin, offline Gen6 
Hardware acceleration is fully supported

Now i,m on 10.8.3 and have not full acceleration  because uninstall the Cuda .But i make rollback to checkit with cuda and I will write again the results..
That applies to me with 560ti should apply to you. Correctly ?

UpDate : You're right it does not pass the test. tried on
10.8.2 with smbios Mac pro 3.1 and iMac 13,1
10.8.3 with smbios iMac 13,1

Need only to enable 3 things :

-Trim for my 3 SSD  (Trim enabler app)
-HDA with latest #########
-OpenCL with  this terminal command

It seems that everyone who has Intel HD graphics along with discrete graphic card has VDADecoder fully supported. I guess VDADecode is supported on their IGPU-s then?

Install the lastest cuda 5.0.37 even if not yet supported in latest beta.

until 12D53 is O.K but,

Yea, I added device ID in AGPM and LPC.

Hmm, it seems to be Clover Issue.  10.6.8 is same Issue.

VGA decoder works well in HP EliteBook 8540p with MacBook Pro6,1, Clover Rev 1050 in 10.8.3(12D58).

It don't have intel HD 3000 or CUDA installed atm.

But, it can boot one of 5 times caused reset issue, Damn.

I always have to remove cache before reboot.

sucess whit gigabyte 7870 oc in D61,added 6818 in two kext,repair permisions,GE=no,reboot and go!
whit sleep trick of course,but is better than nothing xD

I don't have integrated intel GPU and it still works on 10.7.4, on 10.7.5 and up, VDA does not work .

Hi, fantomas1. Did you find that the get_framebuffer provided by bcc9 is not working anymore ?
I found this after upgrading to 12d58. Don;t know how is it going on with the latest 12d65

7xxx are supported, so why we need to edit every files ?

Will it be easier when the final version of 10,8,3 will be released ?

Why AMD can't provide full driver for their cards ?

I have had a xfx amd 6870 since m/lion came out has it was fully supported. Now this card works out of the box yes but i have always had random screen glitches. And not one of the updates has fixed this dont get me wrong its never crashed on me. Just random screen tear and glitches but it works great apart from this

Making hackintoshers happy is the last thing on AMD's mind. Their drivers will work perfectly on a real Mac. The steps hackintoshers have to take are all part of hackintoshing. It is never a 'given' that any card from a range will be supported.
