You can’t use spaces like that in terminal commands. Try Big\ Sur

Ok, i continue testing Big Sur vanilla install on HW from signature.

OC 0.6.0 - on USB flash drive, Installer partition - on system SSD(aka Software Update Catalina --> Big Sur)

I get reboot just before Installer windows is opened. Reason - USB HID driver.

P.S. Can not upload any files due size limit, help please!

Could you please logout your account, clean the browser cache and see if the value increased?

I am glad you are up and running. I am using VoodooPS2Controller and my trackpad is working fine. Please go to system preferences, trackpad and make sure that secondary click is with option (Click or tap with two fingers). After that go to accessibility, pointer control, trackpad options and enable dragging without drag lock.

What type of trackpad do you have and which version of VoodooPS2Controller are you using?  I have a Synaptics Clickpad.  When I click on Trackpad preferences, it says that there is no trackpad present.

Hi, anyone has an EFI folder for Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H running macOS Big Sur?

I´m stuck here, I tried to modify OCQuirks.plist from Dortania, but no luck, it´s a Haswell desktop.

Thanks.

you are missing some files and or settings in your config.plist.  you can either post your EFI folder or you can find the post I made that has the Haswell EFI folder for HP 800 G1 Elitedesk.

Please check in the EFI I have sent earlier, there's my voodooPS2Controller under kexts and mine is not using a clickpad unfortunately.

I have put your OC Booter Quirks from your config.plist in my OCQuirks.plist, using Clover with OCQuirks method, but no luck, stuck at the same line.

Here I attach my current EFI folder.

Ah.. Thank you so much for sharing but mine continues to get stuck here

You need to find working OpenCore configuration example for your hardware (motherboard) online and copy settings from there

Hi @Manas Malla,

I'm trying your method and following the instructions but in the last step see below, it gives me an error, how to solve this?

Thanks

In my opinion although doable as proven by the author, the process is long winded and prone to mistakes along the way. The sure fired way is the one done and published by MaLd0n. Way more easier than this method and without using VM also able to install on an external or internal drive. Not trying to take anything away from Manas Malla's method but MaLd0n's method is far less cumbersome.
