youjiuzhiyi
Great work, MaLd0n! Same motherboard with 8700K and MSI RX580 8G. Working fine with Clover for me but get Kernel Panic when I try with OpenCore. I worked with this guide (https://khronokernel-2.gitbook.io/opencore-vanilla-desktop-guide/config.plist/coffee-lake) and also referred to your “OPENCORE FOLDER” for GA Z390 DESIGNARE, but the same Kernel Panic. Have you used OpenCore with Z390 M Gaming or will you do so? I just copy your EFI folder to my EFI partition and so far so good! Using for 1 hour and just find something wrong with the bluetooth. Maybe a USB problem and I think could handle it. I’m using iMac19,1 SMBIOS with Clover now so I will refer to your iMacPro1,1 OpenCore settings and try to modify my own iMac19,1 OpenCore folder. Thanks a lot and maybe ask you some questions again when I try with iMac19,1 SMBIOS Edited August 25, 2019 by youjiuzhiyi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/337975-insanely-hackbeast-ga-z390m-gaming-full-dsdt-patches/page/4/#findComment-2687231 Share on other sites
locus
@MaLd0n Hey, first of all thanks alot for this guide! It was the only one that let me install and boot on my new Z390 M Gaming. The only problem I have is, that I don't have video hardware acceleration (Preview with images doesn't work, for example). AFAIK, I have to enable iGPU in the bios to make it work. But whenever I set it from auto to enable, I can't boot anymore and get a Couldn't allocate runtime area error. Do you have any idea what the problem could be or how to fix it? buzzworm
Just updated my board to F7 bios and I'm getting a circle with a slash over the apple logo at boot. Verbose says "couldn't allocate runtime area error" After upgrading to F7 all my EFI settings were wiped out so I had to reconfigure. maybe I'm missing something? I tried your Clover folder from CLOVER.SERIES.100.200.300.zip and am still getting same thing. Any ideas what I can try?
