Yes i compiled them myself. Sherlocks Posted August 17, 2017 Share Posted August 17, 2017 @Sherlocks I have been rebooting my laptop for quite some time now while its been unplugged and every time i have the Battery Indicator but if i plug in the charger the B.I does not indicate its charging. While plugged in and rebooting the result is back to the same, no B.I. The only change made today was updating Lilu (1.1.7) and AppleALC (1.1.4). You're welcome dude is there a different way to mount the EFI of APFS or it's the usual way? with clover configurator it's just the same but it can't detect the volume name like it does with the HFS volumes and with the diskutil you need to know that the EFI partition is outside the Apple_APFS Container. you need to identify those two volumes. see here: /dev/disk1 (internal, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk1 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk1s1 2: Apple_APFS Container disk4 999.3 GB disk1s2 3: Apple_KernelCoreDump 655.4 MB disk1s3 /dev/disk4 (synthesized): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: APFS Container Scheme - +999.3 GB disk4 Physical Store disk1s2 1: APFS Volume 1 TB 12.0 GB disk4s1 2: APFS Volume Preboot 20.9 MB disk4s2 3: APFS Volume Recovery 516.9 MB disk4s3 4: APFS Volume VM 4.3 GB disk4s4 Notice that this is a single disk which is separated into 2 disks: /dev/disk1 (internal, physical) and /dev/disk4 (synthesized). I suppose it should but I was able to install DP6 successfully several times on both IvyBridge and SkyLake without a problem. I've tried using Clover r4176 with and without FF & FFM, but haven't found the right combination yet. I'm using MacPro6,1 Smbios - will try iMac17,1. I notice as well that others get stuck on verifying firmware, while we got stuck on updating firmware - not sure it if has the same root cause?
