I'm back up and running.. I couldn't boot without having to use the NullCpuPowerManagement kext because i'd get kp without it. The appleintelcpupowermanagement kext was problematic. I tried to tick the AppleIntelCPUPM option under clover and still would kp. I have more testing to do with the sleep/wake etc..===========UPDATE

Just tested sleep, it still goes to sleep fine and still cant wake up with mouse nor keyboard.. But once pressed power button, it wakes up and freezes and restarts.

Guys, please, need help. Booted successfully, installed everything like in 1.st post. Everything works, except I can't get video out of DVI port on my graphic card. Have connected two monitors (HDMI+DVI), both are recognazible in Display Preferences, but can't get video out of DVI port. Tried to exchange monitors, but no luck.
My specs are in signature. Thanks

Reinstalled again, and now everything works OOB. Amazing job @MaLd0n Thx.

Please be aware that CPU powermanagement works only with C-States and P-States injected with Clover. If I use Plugin=true, SSDT-XCPM or Pike SSDT, CPU doesn't go lower than 3 gHz.

I don't use USB Injector but instead, FakePCIID Mux. Anyway, it doesn't make a difference with KP's. Tried to drop a bunch of tables, different parameters in Clover, no changes. Tried without NVidia card, no changes. GenericUSBXHCI is needed for my Lacie drive, as the computer won't even boot when connected to regular USB3 ports.

@MaLd0n any more recommendations for me bro?  I'm beginning to think that my board is very problematic. Perhaps i might consider flashing a newer bios if theres one available.  What do you think.. I've had successful hacks with the g3258 before with proper power management.. But with this board, it's been a problem for me since the beginning.

Thanks a lot for your hard work MaLd0n: unfortunately, same KP at sleep/wake and Lacie USB3 couldn't mount drive in finder (interesting the way you bypassed GenericUSBXHCI!). The USB3 card is a NEC/Renesas BTW...

send me new dump with new files

this way is: we need a x86platform, but if u have kp with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement...is wrong, need a patches to kernel, like x99, etc, procs without a native support

Same link as before: Files: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsCftN_jdRMFugZ-HX6GsHXaVlQC

I've kept the iMac 14,1 SMBIOS 'cause some audio software is tied to my hardware infos. If it is not a problem to keep 14,1, I'll keep it.

As for the Lacie drive, it is connected to a PCIe USB3 NEC/Renesas card. I doubt it will work with Apple kext. Fornow on, the partitions do not mount at all.

Power management: even if LPC is loaded, platformshim and plugin true: CPU stays in the 3 gHz range... even at idle.

Thanks,

Patrice

Hi, I am trying to troubleshoot freezing issues im having with my rig.

Mobo: Asus x99 Deluxe-II

Cpu: 6950x

Gpu: Aorus 1080 ti

OS: 10.13.3

I have got everything implemented to where everything seems to function correctly, but when i do any type of rendering with adobe premier/media encoder or redcine-x. I lock up. here is the kicker i can run prime95 all night and i can run cinebench gpu test over and over again with no issues. I can even idle for days. Im really stuck and im not sure what to do.

I am wondering if you maybe able to take a look at my rig. I have ran your runme.app and here is the results. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a5xuZP4YlL-zFCo8d-i1XlOxyyjM891K/view?usp=sharing

Any help or advice would be awesome thanks!

Nothing after sleep, no TSC errors: I even tried VoodooTSCSync.kext and it caused a real mess on my hack. I had to clear CMOS, clear NVRAM and now, all seems good. HS sleep/wake looks to be a severe incompatibility between my BIOS/MB/Chipset...

Thanks anyway for your help.

Hello MaLd0n,

firstly i want to say thank you for your great support. It’s a good feeling to know there exist a guy with the knowledge that you have and that this guy can help me maybe.

I hope that your knowledge can help me now. Sorry for my bad English...

Since High Sierra I have some trouble with my secondary integrated  two HDDs. Its one WDC with 1 TB and a Hitachi with 2 TB. I see the disks in DU and Term with  diskutil list but I can't initialise them cause (According to the error message) there is no partition table. But it is and when i replace the DSDT with a clover patched but wrong one I can see the disks. The Problem is  This DSDT don't work for me in case of some software that won't start anymore or crash after replace. It seems that my SATA Ports are limited maybe, I don't know and I need help to fix it...

With patching a DSDT i am very inexperienced.

Please help me. What you need?

u dont need kexthelper, just put kext in clover/kexts/other, reboot
