  1. Any improvements or changes vs build 25f07? I don't want to update if there isn't any bugfix or added value. Thanks...

    GeForce GT 710

Good little basic GPU (Asus GT710 with DDR5 here). Does the job with or without web drivers for me in Sierra 10.12.6.
  3. Nothing after sleep, no TSC errors: I even tried VoodooTSCSync.kext and it caused a real mess on my hack. I had to clear CMOS, clear NVRAM and now, all seems good. HS sleep/wake looks to be a severe incompatibility between my BIOS/MB/Chipset... Thanks anyway for your help. Patrice
  4. The files in the link are the new ones from today: you will find the DSDT in the EFI.zip... EDIT: Sorry for the mess, my MacBook Pro sent back the old files on OneDrive... https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsCftN_jdRMFugZ-HX6GsHXaVlQC
  5. Same link as before: Files: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsCftN_jdRMFugZ-HX6GsHXaVlQC I've kept the iMac 14,1 SMBIOS 'cause some audio software is tied to my hardware infos. If it is not a problem to keep 14,1, I'll keep it. As for the Lacie drive, it is connected to a PCIe USB3 NEC/Renesas card. I doubt it will work with Apple kext. Fornow on, the partitions do not mount at all. Power management: even if LPC is loaded, platformshim and plugin true: CPU stays in the 3 gHz range... even at idle. Thanks, Patrice
  6. Thanks a lot for your hard work MaLd0n: unfortunately, same KP at sleep/wake and Lacie USB3 couldn't mount drive in finder (interesting the way you bypassed GenericUSBXHCI!). The USB3 card is a NEC/Renesas BTW...
  7. Hi there, Dell Optiplex 9020 i7 4770, 16 gb RAM 1333 MHz, Asus GT 710, 2xSSD's, 1 TB HDD, Lacie USB3 3TB Hard Drive, Intel Q87 Express chipset, latest BIOS. Working without errors in Sierra (iMessage, iTunes, sleep/wake, power management, USB, etc...). If I use Plugin=true, SSDT-XCPM or Pike SSDT, CPU doesn't go lower than 3 gHz. I don't use USB Injector but instead, FakePCIID Mux. Anyway, it doesn't make a difference with KP's. Tried to drop a bunch of tables, different parameters in Clover, no changes. Tried without NVidia card, no changes. GenericUSBXHCI is needed for my Lacie drive, as the computer won't even boot when connected to regular USB3 ports. Files: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AsCftN_jdRMFugZ-HX6GsHXaVlQC Thanks a lot, Patrice **I'm not alone in the situation, nobody with a 9020 is able to sleep/wake in HS for the moment.

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

Hello there, First, thanks for the developpers of AppleALC.kext. Second, thanks for MacPeet for the ALC280 codec support, done for Dell PowerEdge T20. Now, I have this same chipset on my Dell Optiplex 9020 Mini-Tower. Using layout-id 13 or 15, I get lower volume on the rear jacks. Do you think it is by design inside the chip or something in AppleALC could solve the issue. Thanks, Patrice EDIT: Sound is lower too on the rear under Windows 10. However, maximum sound is louder in Win 10 so headphone outs at max is dangerous but rear output is fine (but louder than OSX). So, nothing could be done I would think (except louder overall sound for ALC280 under OSX, is it possible??). Thanks anyway.

nVidia GPUs and the infamous lag issue, Why is that happening?

Answering to myself: Cinebench the same on my Dell Optiplex 9020 and GT 1030 (75 fps) but definitely 15 to 20 fps lower than Sierra with the Maxwell GTX 950. Anyone has Cinebench comparison between Sierra and HS for Maxwell? Thanks, Patrice

nVidia GPUs and the infamous lag issue, Why is that happening?

Waiting for my High Sierra partition test to install: curious to see if there is any improvements in Cinebench OpenGL. Last time I tried (from .104 to .156), I had 20 fps lower than 10.12.6 with my GTX 950. I'm on Haswell Refresh i7 4790 and GA Z97-UD3H for the record.

    Intel CPU hardware vulnerability

Sierra and El Capitan are already patched since december for Meltdown only (search for CVE-2017-5754 in the Apple doc, they edited the page yesterday): https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT208331 Mitigations will come as updates on browsers mainly if I understand correctly. Firefox and Chrome are already patched in OSX since yesterday...

Shiki — protected video playback support on recent hardware

Found the answer, I think at least, on MacRumors: "flashy-cat said: ↑ Slightly off-topic but, has the format of the extras changed? An older movie (Home Alone) has a separate extras file but the latest one I bought (Grease) doesn't seem to have an extras file. Yes a while back. Maybe a year or so. The extras are streamed now I think? I thought they were now bundled within the file but lost net connection once and extras would not play." So, as streaming isn't working for me, no extras on the Hackintosh...

Shiki — protected video playback support on recent hardware

Already tried as it is supposed to give the same result (and also deleted NVWebDriverLibValFix.kext for the same reason) but trying to play movies: "no HDCP compatible monitor is available". What gives?? Putting back iMac.kext, no more HDCP something message! Thanks for the suggestion however...

Shiki — protected video playback support on recent hardware

A weird one: movies plays fine but iTunes extras (extra videos, other extra content such as text, booklets or pictures are ok...) won't play?? Specs: Gigabyte Z97X UD3H, i7 4790, 16 gb of RAM, Nividia GTX 950. Sierra 10.12.6 with Ozmosis boot loader. Latest Shiki (2.1.0) and lilu (1.2.0.). iMac kext too... Obviously, fine on my MBP early 2011 but I've noticed that these extras videos will resize the display (smaller than the movie). On the hack, it stays on a black screen with the play/pause doing nothing... Someone else seeing the same thing? Thank,

    Ozmosis

So, is the Hermitshell included in the Bios published on the Hackintosh-forum.de website? If it's not the case, one would have to make a USB stick with Efi Shell to be able to boot from HS...
