Hi MaLd0n

New to the discussion, I have a build based on the Z170M plus using a i7 6700K and Asus GTX 1060 that's working pretty well with no SSDT or DSDT's installed but I think I need to have a look at using a DSDT as my internal USB header isn't working for my PCIE wifi/Bluetooth card.

My question is can I use your DSDT as is or do I need to have one specific for my processor? I'm a little wary of changing too much as it's working pretty well except for the above issues.

Any help will be appreciated.

All hacks need DSDT, if u dont like or have time to edits, Clover have good and essentials patches.

Thanks for your reply, I've relied on a combination of ##### and clover configurator to get my build working and as it's my first build I'm not 100% sure of the use of DSDT and SSDT's are, hence my post. Am I right in thinking a correct DSDT will resolve my USB header issue?.

I'll upload my DSDT later, thanks.

Yes, replace

SSDT.aml in Clover/Acpi/Patched

WOW I didn't expect it to boot lol.  I can see PCI devices in System Report now :)

Fans going crazy however, think the new clover folder doesn't have the fakeSMC sensors present, Is it safe to put these back?

Here is my new ioreg:

I've noticed sleep isn't working as before, display goes to sleep then a few seconds later the computer does but it wakes up straight away but the display doesn't, this seems to loop :(

try with fakesmc mod

attachicon.gifFakeSMC.kext.zip

run KextUtility

attachicon.gifKext Utility.app.zip

Reboot

after reboot, put pc in sleep, wait for problem and run in terminal

log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"

Issue still happening after FakeSMC mod.

output from terminal:

2017-06-02 23:24:47.681773+0100  localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: XDCI XHC

try it

attachicon.gifDSDT.aml.zip

use power button for wake

Not having chance to wake using power button as still waking from sleep on its own and giving same wake error:

2017-05-10 20:52:25.659033+0100  localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: XDCI XHC

try with fakesmc mod

attachicon.gifFakeSMC.kext.zip

run KextUtility

attachicon.gifKext Utility.app.zip

Going back to when you asked for me to try the FakeSMC mod, I seem to have two, one in S/L/E and one in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other

Which one should I have replaced?  Does clover use the one in EFI because we have kexts injection enabled?
