This kernel based on Tora Chi Yo's kernel RV-8A with the latest changes.

the kernel was compatible with: Athlon X2 5600+ and Athlon 64 X2 4200+

So please test alternatively to Bronya's kernel_10.10.5_rc1

It would be great if one of the kernels would work.

Bronya's kernel works fine with no problems. Spakk I will test yours tomorrow :)

Edit: The only problem I've had with all the kernels for Yosemite is shutdown, reboot and sleep not working 100% :D

For me working , shutdown , reboot . Sleep this i no checked . ))) Maybe problem bootloader =)

I've had the problem with Clover and Enoch. Its very random if it works but not often. Sleep works sort of but my Windows drive doesn't wake so it gets unmounted wrong.

Thanks and glad to find this new kernel works for Phenom 9850 now !

Darwin Jamess-iMac.local 14.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Mo  2 Nov 2015 22:45:42 CET; mein:xnu-2782.40.9/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

But disk ultility app. may get freeze due to opencode errors just once !

Hi !

Try kernel 10.10.5_rc1 by Bronya =)

Download --> attachicon.gifkernel_10.10.5_rc1.zip

Thanks and this kernel works for Phenom 9850 !

Darwin JamesSmiths-Mac-Pro.local 14.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: вторник,  3 ноября 2015 г. 00:19:59 (MSK); ###Bronya###:xnu-2782.40.9/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

But disk ultility app. may get repair errors without freeze just once !

Please see the attached picture below :

I think one of the Kernels should work for : Iupkraine, Shaneee and jsl

Thanks, but unfortunately the following one does not work yet for Phenom 9850 ( a lot of opencode errors during booting):

Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Mo  2 Nov 2015 00:02:46 CET; mein:10.10.5_SSEPlus/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64

Darwin Kernel Version 14.5.0: Mo  2 Nov 2015 18:08:06 CET; mein:10.10.5_SSEPlus-Fix_V3/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_X86_64

That with the Error "Permissions verify or repair failed" with disk Utility, has a different reason, and does not come from kernel, perhaps from Installer tool to create the partition / HDD?

I could fix the problem only with MacDrive under Windows, DiskWarrior could not help.

Thanks for your help and advice.

That error occured just once and had not occured anymore.

So I think your kernel works without bug now.

I also found that both yours and Bronya's new kernels can not show whether prelinkedkernel is used during booting, in 10.10.5R1 kernel which can show it.

But 10.10.5R1 kernel can not auto detect correct CPU/FSB frequency unless fsb=200 is added at org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

If you can add such a function will be highly appreciated.

IF this needs  prelinkedkernel - this only by bootloader , but no kernel . ) .

Do you mean this function is provided by Chameleon bootloader instead of individual kernel ?

I ask this question is using Enoch r2784 or r2795 downloaded from Insanelymac.com only booting 10.10.5R1 kernel will show prelinkedkernel used, while the other working kernels like yours and Spakk's did not show this message during successful booting.

Thanks for your excellent new kernel again !

maybe this prelinkedkernel no need' =)))) .

I think that this prelinkedkernel is hidden ... lol =)))

You can make picture for this prelinkedkernel ? ))

this bootloader reads kernel and did prelinkedkernel in cache .

I getting rebuild prelinkedkernel one time .

I am going to try it now, please wait a moment

Edit:It's working with these flags

hmmm , is strange ... please write in terminal "sysctl -a machdep.cpu "

and give to me here !

And in console you write word "freq" and picture here .
