@ akzidenz - what version of VoodooHDA did you use?  (I did played around with mine, maybe a bit too much.)

Confirmed! Sleep fix working...  Now just my sound and I will be where you are akzidenz...

Amazing! Thx again! :)  And yes an amazing way to end the week!

: )

I used VoodooHDA 2.8.0 from projectosx -- it should work without any edits (for me it was fine) but the microphone didnt't work properly.

I patched it in my files for the IDs i found for the sound device

Ven ID = 8086

Dev ID = 9c20

Then added the correct nodes. All in the info.plist if you wanna take a look:

Did anyone actually buy/try the touch/stylus drives? I'm curious if its better on OSX than Windows!...

(Surface OSX)

Hi. I install NullEthernet.kext but I can't access iCloud and Appstore.

1:install kext

2:delete network setteing

3:add my Macbook AIR's serial number to plist

Now my network setting is

USBWIFI : connect internet

Ethernet : status connected but sell-assigned IP.

And one more question,

I use surface type cover keyboard.

Can I use trackpad with Natural scroll ?

Try the app gestures. More comfortable than the little trackpad

Finally got it to properly install and boot! Realized that I was using the Terminal inputs wrong after I installed Mavericks. Thank you all for your help and guides, look forward to seeing what else will be done.

WHY ???

USE A NEW GENERATED SERIAL NUMBER or your's mac serial is going to be bannned.

then check better the steps!

Hold volume down key , and Surface boot OSX without clover menu.

How to write config.plist ???

its an impression, it starts up automatically.

From the guide:

HiDPI:

If you just prefer to have a bigger UI, you can enable HiDPI.
this is the mode used by retina displays to show a 2x interface, and this helps for touch and pen inputs

Open the terminal

type:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver DisplayResolutionEnabled -bool YES;

Then download switchresx to enable custom resolution,

from the sresx preference panel add this scaled resolution: 2732x1536

From the Switchresx Panel

  1. Click on the screen at the bottom of the list
  2. Click Current Resolution
  3. Select 1366x768 (HiDPI)

thats it.

It's not appear. The program doesn't install the scaled resolution... I just used 720 hdpi

Ahh, voodoo doesn't work for me. I have tried the patch too and nothing.

Will try now...  Just got up :)

Had many difficulties getting voodoo to work... keeps saying that its missing dependencies.  I checked it with Kext Wizard and all those libs are installed and running...

Trying a fresh install to the ssd with v0.3 files now.  btw (there is no link for the 0.1 audio files? - or are they in the linked post?)

thx as always!
