They always include "CSR_ALLOW_APPLE_INTERNAL" while using csrutil?

Clover r4123 won't load configs for me.

First two hacks in signature tried and won't load configs for both.

Bug is report

Hey,

found maybe some new investigation regarding AMD no sleep problem.

Seems that the Intel HD Framebuffer only is required, so the intel gfx device is not detected, but the framebuffer (in my case azul) is loaded. The sleep then still works, so it seems that the azul / capri framebuffer kext alone are responsible for a working sleep mode for AMD gfx?

edit: I forgot to mention that sleep does not work, if you also remove the Intel framebuffer... so is it right to assume that the AMD gfx bios initialization theory is wrong, but instead there is some code in that framebuffer which makes sleepmode working for amd?

El Capitan 2017-003 Security Update for 10.11.6 has caused issues booting on one of my machines (others are starting to report this issue too).  For me, I get stuck at the OsxAptioFixDrv screen (before loading OS X).  For others, it restarts in an infinite loop.  For me it just hangs.

Would this have something to do with the Clover configuration?  I was on r4061 and I updated to the latest stable, still having those issues.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I've fixed the issue with this one but you will still need to restore your config.plist from your EFI-Backups folder.

PMHeart.  What is the difference between the value of "CsrActiveConfig" 0x3E7 for the 0x67?

0x3E7 disables more protections than 0x67. (Sorry unfortunately I can't tell what the exact items are right now.)

When I set in High Sierra Recovery

$ csrutil disable

I see csr-active-config changed to value 0x77 (w%00%00%00)

Actually this has happened since certain version of OS X El Capitan. (Sorry, I didn't remember what the particular beta was...) After that Apple Internal bit would be always set except running something with "--no-internal".

CSR_ALLOW_DEVICE_CONFIGURATION: disable (0)
CSR_ALLOW_ANY_RECOVERY_OS: disable (0)
CSR_DISABLE_KEXT_CONSENT: disable (0)

You could run something like

csrutil enable --without kext --no-internal

And then this will only set "CSR_ALLOW_UNTRUSTED_KEXTS" (0x01)

EDIT 1:

@Slice @cecekpawon

According to this blog (See its "Update 2"), this has occurred since 10.11.1 Beta.

EDIT 2:

@JorgeMax

What 0x3E7 sets:

CSR_ALLOW_UNTRUSTED_KEXTS
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_FS
CSR_ALLOW_TASK_FOR_PID
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_DTRACE
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_NVRAM
CSR_ALLOW_DEVICE_CONFIGURATION
CSR_ALLOW_ANY_RECOVERY_OS
CSR_DISABLE_KEXT_CONSENT // not sure for the exact name

What 0x67 sets:

CSR_ALLOW_UNTRUSTED_KEXTS
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_FS
CSR_ALLOW_TASK_FOR_PID
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_DTRACE
CSR_ALLOW_UNRESTRICTED_NVRAM

I clicked turn off FileVault and requested me to restart, after restart I can't reach clover boot menu, it's stuck with scanning entries.

I tried to boot clover from usb and with older clover version but no result, any help?

It's probably a long shot...but..BIOS reset/"set recommended"? What was the last thing you changed? And...was it in both the USB and the HDD or just the HDD? This might help you determine the cause of the issue, in case it's not something related to the BIOS...

Since you can't boot that HDD with an external USB drive (with Clover on it), it is probably the OS partition... Did you try a repair from Recovery? Can you access the Recovery partition? As a last resort, you could probably just reinstall the OS over the existing version, with no wipe, which you can also do from Recovery.

You're right. Scratch that. You can't get into any partition, not just the OS... But...what was the last thing you changed? It's kinda weird that all of the sudden you can't boot that HDD anymore.

I'd turned off filevault and after restart this problem appears

And with the USB drive, you also get stuck at "scanning devices..."? Cause in this case, it's not the HDD (since you don't boot Clover from it, but from the USB), and it's not Clover either, since the same Clover got you into the OS the first time, enough to switch ON/OFF FileVault...

Can you enter Clover UI without the HDD (from the USB drive)? As in... physically disconnected.
